BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I originally bought my 2008 Nissan Pathfinder from Saratoga Nissan in 2011. Since there closing I decided to take my vehicle to Destination Nissan of I originally bought my 2008 Nissan Pathfinder from Saratoga Nissan in 2011. Since there closing I decided to take my vehicle to Destination Nissan of Albany. Recently I received service there for new tires. So I took it in to have the job done. They told me it would take some time to get the tires because they had to go to other locations to pick up the specific tires my vehicle requires. So it took a few hours and finally the work was done. Now its a month later and as my car is being towed I realize that my spare tire isn't in its newly condition that I'm used to seeing it in. So I get closer and notice the tread is pretty worn down compared to the new tires I have on my vehicle. Understand that I have never had to use my spare tire since I've had my truck and also the spare tire came brand new! So where I'm going with this is that I believe my spare tire was used to replace one of the worn down tires on my truck and I paid for it! In response to my findings I called and spoke to an employee in service who then transfered me to the manager Charles. He was very rude and directed the blame towards Armory dealership. Now yes my car was at Armory in 2011 but only for an estimate,they never serviced my truck. Charles rushed my off the phone as I asked him his name and thanked him for his time he hung up in my ear. I know its difficult to prove what I am saying but I wanted to make the dealership aware and other future buyers. I believe that some if not all of the staff at Destination Nissan of Albany, NY are practicing illegal activities. The same way Saratoga Nissan was forced to close down because of fraudulent activities this location is on its way there as well. Sadly I will never visit this location again and very reluctant about purchasing another Nissan. More
Excellent and quick service I brought my Nissan Sentra in for routine maintainence (tire rotation, oil change), a NYS inspection, and to address a recall notice. Went to Albany to go to Target, left with a new car! This was my very first new car purchase and everyone was very nice and took the time to explain everything to me. Once we got my monthly payment where I was comfortable I went home a couple days later with my very first new car. And she's beautiful. George was my salesman, and he was great! He explained my service options, and walked me through the entire process with ease. The entire process was painless. The only constructive recommendation that I would have is not to use the on-line system when making a service appointment. I used it on two seperate occasions without any reply. They need to either remove the option from the site, or fix the issue. More

I've been getting regular service at Destination Nissan which has been ve I purchased a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder in August 2013 from Destination Nissan. I've been getting regular service at Destination Nissan which has been very good. But, this week I went with an issue of the Pathfinder jutter/shutter at low acceleration, it felt like the front was going to fall of and the Pathfinder was going to stall. If you read the 2013 Pathfinder Forums, there seems to be an issue with 2013-2014 Pathfinder CVT transmissions. I downloaded the three (3) tech service bulletin. They re-programmed the transmission and gave me back the Pathfinder, Destination said they couldn't reproduce the symptoms after the software update. I drove it to work (I couldn't reproduce the symptoms - granted I have a bit of a heavy foot) and the next day when my wife was driving it, the symptoms are back at low accelerations. Now Nissan & Destination Nissan are well aware of the situation and the Tech Service Bulletins. I now have to be bring it back again, to see if they can reproduce it and determine it failed; IE: the CVT transmission - Really! No loaner vehicle available while warranty work is being done from Destination and Nissan caps rentals at 2 days for warranty work. Thanks Nissan & Destination Nissan for your great service and standing behind your vehicle. You guys really care about your customers, is there other Nissan dealerships in the area? YES. Do you make BIG money from warranty and service? YES. This is how a dealer behaves who CARES about your business despite Nissan's policy? WOW.
