Great service, great deal! After the loaded snow white Kia Optima SXL I was originally looking at was sold from underneath me, I figured I would at least look at the newly redes After the loaded snow white Kia Optima SXL I was originally looking at was sold from underneath me, I figured I would at least look at the newly redesigned Altima 2019 Platinum on the off chance it might fill the bill. I was looking to upgrade my vehicle to get all the latest safety and drive assist features after seeing what new cool stuff my wife's new 2019 Kia Sorrento had in it. (see my review on Anthony over at Destination). When there I met Lucias Ciccarelli who was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the car and helped me get up to speed quickly regarding the differences and similarities between the Optima and the Altima. He really took his time explaining things and even looked up a trim comparison app on his ipad to help out. The test drive helped me get comfortable about the fuel efficient CVT after reading all the crazy horror stories on the Internet. My spreadsheet showed the pricing was very similar so I was really on the fence about it waiting to see if Kia or Nissan improved their rebates over the next few months. I was never pressured at any time to BUY NOW as I was more window shopping than anything being very happy with my current Kia Optima SX. Once I left the dealership "Billy" Corbani did some more thourough research for me and crunched some numbers on my trade and contacted me with a really great deal. It really saved me the hassle of retailing my old car myself for around the same price. I was also able to drop down a trim level and at the end of the day saved about $5000 and only lost a few very minor features. I'll probably buy more new cars more frequently if I could always get a fair trade in like these guys did for me! Having bought many new cars in my life I am always on red alert with dealers changing numbers but these guys were totally legit all the way to the very end. I was able to duplicate everything to the penny in my own personal spreadsheet. No silly fees added whatsoever! Amazing. I was able to get all the paperwork in line to take delivery the next day. I even changed my registration choice at the last minute and noone complained even though this was totally my fault. Everyone was super friendly and efficient including Ray the business manager. He didn't try to upsell me anything I didn't already have an interest in hearing about (like the Nissan extended warranty plan - which is frankly a good deal). It seems the Internet needs a businessmanagerrater.com so Ray can get his 5 stars too. My sincere thanks to all of the employees at Destination Nissan. It seems like these guys really like selling cars and get along well as a team. The vehicles they sell are really world class. Our garage now has a brand new Kia and a brand new Nissan and my wife and I couldn't be happier! Now they are in a race to see which one is most reliable. A few nit picks with the Altima... it seems like you can't get Sonar Park assist FORWARD in any trim. It only has Sonar Park assist in reverse. So the car will keep you from crashing >3mph but <3mph you are on your own. Why not protect the car at all speeds, Nissan??? Wouldn't that really be 360 degree protection like the marketing team says??? Also kinda lame you need to go up to the absolute top trim to get seat and mirror memory. And NONE of the trims have interior LEDs or rear LEDs? Really NIssan??? Just add $500 and add these features. Hopefully they will fix these problems in a future update. (or they could delete the speed limit sign detector LOL!) On the upside: The fuel efficiency of the CVT is amazing. Hopefully it is as reliable as conventional transmissions. I find it silky smooth unless you are really calling for lots of power.... which you dont do all that much anyway. So thanks again to the Destination Nissan Team! One happy customer here! More
