I had a 9 o'clock appointment for a oil change I was there l I was there almost 2hrs for a 9 o'clock appointment. I hate that you don't get in at your time that's why I pick early mornings. Promises Broken Everyone was polite and courteous. But call backs were not made on time - and the quote I received for services were based on "Nissan rules" that coul Everyone was polite and courteous. But call backs were not made on time - and the quote I received for services were based on "Nissan rules" that could not be broken, despite the facts that follow: 1. It's my car, and I should be able to request repairs I want done. 2. I knew the exact scope of the work I wanted to be performed. 3. I paid $125 to be told what I already knew was wrong. Highway robbery. Never again. 4. I found another garage to perform the desired work for 1/3 of Nissan's quote. The new garage said my pads and rotors were fine...Destination Nissan said they 'had to be replaced.' Pretty shameful when I asked ahead of time to keep costs as low as possible. If you expect brand loyalty, you might want to help someone out when they make reasonable requests, rather than try to suck every last dollar out of them. No one treated me rudely, but I was not satisfied. Note: I was becoming a fan of Nissan because I love my Xterra. But being offered NO option but to pay $1500 for a new axle - when all I needed was a seal and maybe brake pads - on a vehicle worth $6000...is really bad business practice. It's obvious that the dealership does not want repair jobs unless they can rake in a huge bill. Tony seemed to be the most informed and he gave me good advice, but the rest of the experience was poor. I won't return to Destination Nissan when I look for my next car, and if I hear of anyone needing service - I'll tell them to steer clear. More
