service I took my optima in for service. I needed an oil change and my engine light was on. I was greeted right away but a friendly staff member. (forgot h I took my optima in for service. We went over the services I needed for the visit and he asked me if I was dropping off or staying. I was staying. It took almost 2.5 hours for completion of my services which seemed a bit long to me especially when I told them I was waiting. I would think they would try to get a customer out in a decent amount of time. It was a good thing I had no morning commitments. So keep that in mind if you are going to wait for your car. They were very busy but I was there on time and still waited all morning. My service employee did inform me of what the status of my car was after 2 hours of waiting and he and I making eye contact across the room. An update sooner then 2 hours would have been nice. Overall, it was a fine experience. It's really the only place in Albany to go for my Kia at this point so I don't have much choice. I am leasing my car so I will continue to take my car to Destination. Really no major complaints at this point. More

This was useful to me as it was my first new vehicle I have bought. The wait time was reasonable even though there was a lot of construction going on. There was sales staff that held conversations while I was waiting for my vehicle to be complete which was a great way to pass the time and they were all very friendly. Nice to have explanations! I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. Service I was waited on right as I walked in the door. I asked how long the oil change and rotating of tires would take and was told 45 minutes. As soon as I walked in Rick was at the door welcoming me to Kia. He apologized for the construction work that was taking place inside (this didn't bother me) and offered me coffee and popcorn. I purchased my car at Lazare Kia. When they closed, someone told me to go the other car dealer that claims to be "HUGE" (we all know who that is, right?). Well, they literally tried to cheat me by tel someone told me to go the other car dealer that claims to be "HUGE" (we all know who that is, right?). Well, they literally tried to cheat me by telling me that my transmission needed to be flushed - - even though my manual says it is not needed until 100,000 miles if ever. At the time, my car only had about 15,000 miles on it! They must try to sell this to everyone because they even handed me a written brochure with it listed as one of the service milestones. So that should make me believe I needed it, right? No. I called the actual Kia manufacture and they said my car did NOT need a transmission flush. I never went back to that less than huge dealer. I found Destination Kia and I'm never going anyplace else. Every single experience I have had has been positive and cost effective. Last summer, their shuttle driver even took me to a golf course so I could play in my league while they were servicing my car - and then promptly returned for me 2.5 hours later. Yesterday, I had another exceptional experience. Sean was super polite and very friendly. I left my car and went to take a walk. He called me to tell me I needed new windshield wiper blades - they would cost $20 and no charge to install. He wanted to know if that was ok? WHAT???? You mean they are not going to cost me $45 and $15 to install? Yes, that's fine Sean, thank you! Car was washed and Sean finalized the payment and sent me on me way. You folks are doing a great job and I tell everyone about your service. Please continue to keep your costs fair and your service great and you will have a life long customer. Thank you! More

I stopped in for a minor problem, was able to get it fixed and got my 45k Service Checkup as well as a Transmission Flush all without a prior appointment. Pat was very friendly and knowledgeable.
