Not compensated for their mistakes and my inconvenience Brought my Sorento in for oil change and tire rotation and told service tech to replace the rear windshield wiper blade. When I got home discovered that the wiper blade was never replaced. Had to drive all the way back to dealer, they put the blade on and charged me full amount for it. When I asked the service tech how they were going to compensate me for my inconvenience, he told me there was "no compensation for a customer's inconvenience". I left and a week later got a phone call from "KIA CONSUMER SERVICE" asking me how the service was on the day in question. I told them very unhappy with Derstination Kia. Told them the service dept. screwed up and I had to come back and it meant nothing to them that I was inconvenienced. They gave me a case number 12726136 and said someone from the dealer would call me to compensate me for my inconvenience. I suggested a free oil change and tire rotation or free inspection. To this date nobody has called me back. I called Kia Consumer Service several times at 1-800-333-4542 to find out the status of the complaint and they transferred me to consumer affairs who to this date has still done nothing. Why bother having an oversight division (Consumer Services and Consumer Affairs) IF THEY ARE NOT GOING TO DO THEIR JOB AND GET SATISFACTION FOR THE INCONVENIENCED CUSTOMER WHO HAS A LEGITIMATE COMPLAINT ABOUT THE SERVICE THEY RECEIVED AT DESTINATION KIA? Its all a joke. To this day still no resolution to my question HOW IS DESTINATION KIA GOING TO COMPENSATE ME FOR MY INCONVENIENCE? More
Nice place, but many screw ups I left them a pretty good review a year ago, but then I had to comeback this year 3 times to fix the water in the tail light issue and another defect. Well, after it rained, the water still got there. Apparently, the tech did not tighten the bolts. Now I have to waste another half day for them to blow the tail light and tighten it. Another time I scheduled an appointment for a pretty serious safety recall, dropped off the car and when I picked it up after work, I was told they ran out of parts and have to reschedule. How does that happen when you book an appointment for this specific reason? Oh, and the sales people...they think we still live in the 80's. Treat you like I can't look up information online to figure out how much a particular car would cost. More

We informed Matt that we were just looking and wanted to check out other car dealers since we were not sure what type of vehicle we wanted.. After getting a price that was to high, we were introduced to Justin who wanted to know what he could do to get us to lease the vehicle that day. Explained the same thing to Justin and said the price was to high. Several times he came back with a lower price and before you know it we agreed to lease the Sedona.(Pressure!!!) We were turning in a leased Ford Transit Connect that had damages. The repairs to the Ford were part of the deal but misunderstood that we still had to put a claim into our insurance company before Destination Kia could repair the vehicle before giving it back to Ford. Destination Kia said they would pay us back for the $500 deductible. Today 5/19/2017 went to the dealership to clear up the issue with the insurance company, put the claim in while I was at the dealership (hope I we get the $500), wanted to talk with Matt about a hitch we ask Monday to have installed and leave off the 2nd set of keys to the Ford. Matt wasn't in so have no information about the hitch. As I was leaving the dealership Marshall was at the Service Desk inside the showroom. I asked it I could get me vehicle wash and he said yes drive are the corner. I did and a few minutes he came out and said there were several cars being washed and it would take about 1/2 hr. I said I'd go do some errands and come back. Came back asked if I had an appointment for service. I said no wanted to get my vehicle washed he looked at me and then said hold on. Came back he said we only wash vehicles if you had service. Informed him that I told Marshall I would be back in 1/2 hr. Sorry we only was vehicles if they had service and there are several vehicles in line to be washed. This is how I spent my day driving from Catskill NY and received the worse Customer Service ever. I wish I had read the reviews before even visiting Destination Kia. I thought it would be better than Fuccillo "MR HUGE" Based on the reviews it doesn't seem like the ownership (Jim) cares about there customer or how their kids act during their commercials. VERY DISAPPOINTED THEY ASKED FOR A "5" ON CUSTOMER SATISFACTION REVIEW !!!!!!!!! More
Not Impressed I made an appointment for an oil change and to have my front wipers replaced. Upon arriving early, I was told it would be an hour. Ok, no problem, b I made an appointment for an oil change and to have my front wipers replaced. Upon arriving early, I was told it would be an hour. Ok, no problem, but I had to be out by a specific time because of another appointment. I was told by the advisor, it wouldn't be a problem. My car sat out front for 15 minutes and I went to find someone to check me out. Was told it would be just another minute. I waited another 15 minutes before the advisor finally came out with my paperwork and two others. So my first belief is that they can't check one person out at a time because I saw another advisor with paperwork for three people to check out. After getting in my car to drive away, the car was wobbly and shaking. I couldn't turn around because I couldn't miss my other appointment. After leaving my second appointment and on my way to work, I phoned the dealership and they told me I would have to bring it back. I told them I couldn't because I had to get to work. I offered several suggestions on how we could resolve the problem of getting it to the dealership, but all suggestions where shot down. I asked the advisor twice to have the sales manager get back to me and he said ok. The third time I called, I told them to forget it, I was done with their dealership. I brought my car to the local garage to find out what the problem was. Destination Kia had rotated my tires w/o my permission. There was a loose lug nut on the front passenger tire and three loose lug nuts on the front driver's side. It was also discovered that one of the tires was not on straight. The manager, never called me back. After receiving an e-mail three days later form them about my service, I sent the manager an e-mail. He responded two days later that he didn't know I was looking for him. My salesman when I leased the vehicle was great. I would not recommend the service department to anyone! More

Was only in for service I didn't expect to buy a car. During my service visit I got curious and went to look at new vehicles. Amazing; Simply AMAZING!!! Sitting at home a few weeks ago; I get a call from my mother. She had taken my father down to Albany (we are from Schoharie Valley) for a Dr appointm Sitting at home a few weeks ago; I get a call from my mother. She had taken my father down to Albany (we are from Schoharie Valley) for a Dr appointment at the V.A. FRANTICALLY telling me that her engine JUST blew in her Sorento, she was having it towed to Destination; and needed me to come pick up her and my dad. So; I did. We got the car there; walked in; and was greeted by nothing short of AMAZING people from the service department and so on. We hung around while they were working on a few logistics so I decided to walk around the showroom. Well along comes this crazy kid (Marat) introduces himself to me and it was on. I filled him in on my parents issue; then he and I went and brainstormed. I dragged my parents out into the showroom; and we started to check out Brand New cars. Needless to say; a day or two later; mom had gotten rid of her Sorento and traded for a BEAUTIFUL FULLY LOADED 2016 Kia Sportage. Marat and the finance manager were able to get my mom into a Brand New SUV that she (as well as the rest of us) LOVES at a payment they could afford. Marat; when those Niro's AWD's come in... HMU (IF the price is affordable)!!!! I HIGHLY recommend these guys for everything from purchase to service! If you haven't done so yet; GO SHOP DESTINATION!!!! Prior to this; I was a Fuccillo fan; regular buyer; etc... BUT NO MORE!!! Thanks guys! You all had our back when we needed you most. BTW; Dave Roark in Svc... TOP NOTCH!!! More

I now have a problem that the service department is taking care of and more. The service writers are great to work with, most recently Jeremy Terrell. While waiting for service, I looked into exchanging my 3 year old Kia for a new one. The sales people are polite, professional & friendly, as well as the managers. It is the end of the month and the management offered a great price. I did not go with the deal only because my current Kia is still as good as brand new, and why buy a new car to put heavy mileage on it. I commend Destination Kia for their new facility, wonderful product and service, but mostly for their team. More
