Second vehicle purchase from desert 215 has been a nightmare. I haven't received my plates and trade in isnt paid for as part of the deal. I still need to remove parts and plates from trade in. Dealer nightmare. I haven't received my plates and trade in isnt paid for as part of the deal. I still need to remove parts and plates from trade in. Dealership messed up on the deal on their end, now they're forking me with a 20k down payment after the contract was signed with 0 down. I'm not pleased with the customer service here. The issue still isn't resolved. More
Service Writer James Cruz is worthless. Took Ram in for standard oil/filter, tire rotation, and diagnosis of shock oil leak and exhaust manifold ticking. Service writer was James Cruz. Kep Took Ram in for standard oil/filter, tire rotation, and diagnosis of shock oil leak and exhaust manifold ticking. Service writer was James Cruz. Kept my truck 5 days and didn't do any service. Diagnosed shock needed replaced and exhaust manifold would be warranty repair. Told me parts ordered but would take 2 months, and come pick up truck. No work done at all in 5 days, no paperwork and no charge. It has been 3 months with no contact. Numerous messages left for James Cruz in service with no return calls. Wrote email to service mgr. and no response. Then found out James Cruz closed out work order as if work was done and reported work completed to RAM warranty. More
James Crews ordered the wrong part so I had to bring it back and this time guarantee me it would be fixed in 1 day on 2nd day he still never touched it. James Crews didn't even call to tell me they hadn't back and this time guarantee me it would be fixed in 1 day on 2nd day he still never touched it. James Crews didn't even call to tell me they hadn't even started. I took off work specifically for this and when I called he said for me just to tell the insurance company to rent me a car. He didn't care one bit how I lost money by taking off for nothing. More
I recently purchased a Jeep Wrangler and while the customer service during the purchase of my vehicle was great- my after purchase experience has been horrendous. My Jeep came with a safe attached to customer service during the purchase of my vehicle was great- my after purchase experience has been horrendous. My Jeep came with a safe attached to the trunk, but I didn’t get the keys to it right away. I was told I would get them once the dealership got the keys from the previous owner. I kept following up weekly with my sales rep and the manager Mike whom I left voicemails for, but he never returned my phone calls. I called several times over the span of a month and attempted to talk to multiple managers in hopes of getting help with the keys to the safe and I finally spoke with Josh who told me to make an appointment with the service department and they would have a locksmith rekey the safe for me. I arrive at my scheduled appointment time and the service department was unable to rekey the safe because the lock smith wasn’t available. The service department was also completely unaware of the whole situation and needed paperwork that neither Mike nor Josh had sent them in order to even have the keys made. I’m still waiting on the keys and it’s been 7 weeks since I purchased my vehicle, so, I currently have this safe attached to my car door that I can’t access and that takes up a lot of space in my trunk. I wouldn’t have purchased my vehicle from this dealership knowing that they have no respect or consideration for their customers once the sale is complete. More
WARNING: CONSUMER BEWARE Six months ago, my daughter and I visited this dealership to purchase a vehicle. They made grand promises with friendly smiles, convincing her to invest substantially in a top-t and I visited this dealership to purchase a vehicle. They made grand promises with friendly smiles, convincing her to invest substantially in a top-tier extended warranty for her Jeep. She was assured this warranty would cover any potential issues, even though her low-mileage Jeep was still under the manufacturer's warranty. After numerous times of bringing the car back for a particular issue and when that issue has now become a serious problem, the dealership is unresponsive and deceitful . Derrick, the individual in charge of service, has yet to return any of her numerous messages. Instead, he delegated the task to Heather, who has not provided any meaningful assistance - only excuses and re-direction. This dealership is owned by Lithia Motors, a vast, vertically integrated conglomerate that operates as a dealership monopoly, managing the dealership, financing, and warranties. They self-warranty their vehicles, allowing them to exploit customers on multiple fronts. As Otis said in a previous post, I too strongly advise you to research Lithia Motors and review Desert 215 on the Better Business Bureau before making any significant investment with this company. Do your due diligence—don’t just look at the stars on Google as we did. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER to avoid potential financial and emotional distress. UPDATE: Derek, You have made fraudulent statements in your reply. For the record: 1. This car has never been off-roading while owned by my daughter. 2. My daughter has never “self-admitted” to such. This is a right-out lie. 3. Interestingly, you have denied warranty claims in this Google post when my daughter has yet to receive any correspondence from Desert 215 stating the same. It’s been 3 weeks since you had this car with multiple follow-ups to no avail. 4. This dispute has also been escalated to Jeep/Mopar, who is waiting specifically for your response to their requests regarding this claim. You have now ignored Jeep for over a week, so how can Jeep deny this claim when they are waiting on more information from your side? 5. Even at the time of purchase, your dealership admitted they “Owed” repairs on the suspension (see new attached image). 6. Then again, the issue was raised post-purchase, and a third time within six months when your department assured us that everything was correctly serviced. This history indicates that the issue was pre-existing and should have been addressed under warranty, not dismissed under the false accusations of misuse. 7. You and your dealership have been actively defrauding my daughter and the public with your statements. I look forward to your prompt attention and swift resolution of this matter. Additionally, I appreciate the opportunity to illustrate to the public the exact nature of your service and organization. More
Bought a 2021 Ranger Lariat from them and had it shipped to Edmond Oklahoma. A week or so after delivery, the cruise control went inop. Desert 215 stood behind their 60 day, 3,000 mile warranty and the problem was fixed at a local Ford dealer. These are good folks. Thanks especially to Joe Sanchez in Sales and Derek Davis in Service. IMO, Lithia is a first class operation. I am watching their stock. More
