Slow and sloppy service The dealer was backed up and scheduled my appointment out two weeks ahead, with the full knowledge that this would be for 5 recall services and an o The dealer was backed up and scheduled my appointment out two weeks ahead, with the full knowledge that this would be for 5 recall services and an oil change. I took my 2017 Ram truck on the scheduled Monday. Agreed to buy a 4 oil change package to use within 3 years. Was then told on Wednesday that it would be ready Thursday. Was called late Friday at 5 PM that it would be ready Monday or Tuesday and that I could get a rental car. I left msg for a return call Monday PM, as I had not rec'd ANY calls from them except that one on Friday at 5 PM. Was then called Tuesday AM that my Ram truck was ready. Was told my bill was over $400! Was told they brought my truck to a frame repair vendor because it was pulling to the side. That was my last truck, not this one, and shouldn't service advisor ADVISE you of that before hand? Was told that I had authorized a "Fuel Induction Service" because my truck idles rough. That is not true. My truck idles fine and we never discussed that. He removed that service off my bill, but I had to shake my head over this, as he said he always recommends this.... Finally, he was wrong about my four oil changes being good for three years. I did my own research, since I was given no paperwork on this extended $230 Mopar service contract. He was shocked that this program had changed, as he has been offering it for a long time. He wrote down on my invoice that I should be given one oil change after June 8, 2021 (I picked truck up on June 18, 2019) Finally, I had to return to dealer because the technician forgot to reset the "Change Oil" sensor. All this, unfortunately, does not inspire confidence in this dealer I've been going to for over a decade, when I owned my previous 2003 Ram. I don't want to find another dealer, but also don't want more of the above on my next service, so I might see if I have better luck elsewhere. More

Fast, Pleasant and Efficient Recall Experience No one likes to take their car in for any recall work. But when you do, you want the work to be completed as soon as possible. Dependable Dodge far e No one likes to take their car in for any recall work. But when you do, you want the work to be completed as soon as possible. Dependable Dodge far exceeded my expectations. I was in and out in 45 minutes! I expected the work to take a full day based on the sheer volume of cars near the service bay that day. Having purchased my brand new (all-new) RAM 1500 about a month ago, the quick recall service really took the sting out of having a recall so early on. I look forward to working with Dependable Dodge and David Dew in the future for all my service needs! More

You had my VIN so you should have known what parts were required to do the Airbag replacement. When I arrived for appointment you didn't have the parts need for my Sprinter. Had to reschedule. More
Awful Service I’m not sure where to start. I’ll start with the fact that the service department never answers the phone. I ended up having to just show up. While I I’m not sure where to start. I’ll start with the fact that the service department never answers the phone. I ended up having to just show up. While I was there in person I witnessed as they just sit there while the phone rings. Second, I had my car towed there due to a wheel lock (a wheel lock the dealership placed on, the wheel lock key was lost). They kept my car overnight and waited till late in the afternoon the next day to tell me they couldn’t help me. The reason I was given was that they didn’t have the key and didn’t want to damage my rim. The service guy then said, “it’s probably at the service place across there street (formally Jeep) I thought about going to check but I didn’t”. I ended up having to have my car towed to Northridge Tire Pros, they got the locks off, no issue, no damage, no problem. More

I'm so furious I wish I could find a decent Dodge RAM diesel service center in L.A. Dependable Dodge really let me down this time. I called last week and told them two things: I have an electrical problem that's an "emergency" to me, because my headlights won't turn off and I have to jump start my truck every morning. Secondly, I'm going on a trip this week and I need the truck back (fixed!). They were busy when I made the appointment, but they told me they were wide open on Friday and I could bring it in at the end of day Thursday so they could get started first thing. Then I got an email confirmation saying to bring it in the following Tuesday (not the day we agreed on). I replied to the email and called back, but the service guy never returned my calls and the email probably went to a robot. I finally reached him on Thursday before I drove down, but he told me "too bad" and said my appointment was for Tuesday the following week. I was pretty steamed, but OK. Then I brought it in on Tuesday and reminded the service writer that I absolutely need it by EOD the next day, because I'm leaving on a trip on Thursday. No problemo. I also asked for a call back that same day on Tuesday just to check in and give a status. No call back. So late Wednesday morning I started calling for a status. I couldn't reach my service writer though. I left a bunch of messages and kept calling, but nobody in Service would pick up. I finally told the receptionist that I couldn't call back anymore and that I wanted to speak with a manager. This magically got me through to my service writer who sadly informed me that they were running 2-3 days behind and that they hadn't even touched my truck. I told him that I needed it anyway and that I would come down to pick it up. When I got there to pick it up, my service writer was gone: "Oh it's you. Yeah, he went home early right after he hung up with you." I asked to speak with a service manager, but "he didn't come in today". And even though I live an hour away, the truck wasn't even ready for me to pick up. A porter finally told me that it was at a different lot and he'd be right back. It took another 45 minutes for them to bring it up. Who knows, maybe they had to jump start it too. So now I still have a truck that I have to jump start every morning and I'm nervous to drive it anywhere, but I also don't have any new appointment or any plan for resolution. I've called back for the service writer and the service manager, but haven't reached anyone yet. For something that the service writer described as "an easy fix...probably just needs a new switch", this has been a nightmare. My understanding is that they recently absorbed new brands of business and now they're also servicing Jeep, etc. It's a shame they did that without staffing up, because I imagine I'm not the only one getting such horrible service and now they're burning bridges with a whole new batch of customers. I've been a very loyal Dependable customer, but not anymore if this is what I can expect in the future. More
