I took my 2019 Dodge ram in for a recall notice. While service was working on the recall I looked at some new pick ups on the lot. Brought our vehicle in because the new tires we had installed 6k miles ago (along with an alignment) were bald. Had no communication for 2 days until I reached out and learner that we needed another al installed 6k miles ago (along with an alignment) were bald. When discussing the issue the service writer told me the alignment was needed because we must have driven thru a pothole (we didnt) and could not explain why both rear wheels needed alignment, but neither front did. We authorized the alignment and replacement tires, only to have no more communication for the next 2 days. When I finally learned the vehicle was ready for pickup, it was 15 minutes prior to closing. Picked up the vehicle the following day and spoke with another advisor and expressed my issues and concerns. He gave no resolutions and, instead, insisted the alignment could have only been off by "off-roading". After I inquired if it was a possibility a technician forgot to tighten all adjustments after the first alignment was registered, he relented and affirmed. He still offered no resolution until I suggested only charging me for tires at cost at which point I was transferred to the senior advisor working (manager was off). The senior advisor (dont recall his name) was awesome. Common sense based conversation, clearly a seasoned professional, and very personable. If it wasn't for the senior advisor working on 2-8-25 I would be taking all future business elsewhere. More
I bought 2 cars one new and one used, was pressured into buying extra coverages, and told not to bring the car there for repairs because the service dep was awful by the salesman. Brought my vehicle in for the 100K mile service, the service advisor told me it would be about a 3-4 hour wait for all the work on my car. I was willing to wait but needed to be out in the same promised service advisor told me it would be about a 3-4 hour wait for all the work on my car.
