Terrible Service Department Plan to spend the better part of a day here if you bring your vehicle in for service. I brought my Civic in with only two problems that should have on Plan to spend the better part of a day here if you bring your vehicle in for service. I brought my Civic in with only two problems that should have only taken 1 hour. I expected completion within an hour, since I had made an appointment. I came back to the Service Dept. two hours and ten minutes later. When I inquired about my car, one of the four service employees in the office went into the shop looking for my car. Five minutes later he came back and informed me that it had been checked out and needed the relay I had identified. The adviser stated the tech had checked it out, and went to lunch without moving the paperwork. He said that it would take 15-20 minutes to install the relay. My wife agreed to wait and went in, telling a woman at the service desk that she would be in the waiting area, and someone could let her know when the Civic was done. At 2:10 pm, my wife was finally told the work was done. But on the paperwork it said the car was done at 1:23 pm, so she sat for 45 minutes waiting for a car that was done. The checkout person stated that they “thought my wife had different clothes on so they were looking for someone else”. A simple announcement in the waiting area would have seemed logical. My issue is that I was billed for about one hour of work, yet I spent over three hours waiting. I guess I don’t understand why there was no sense of urgency to get back to me on this service, or to finish the transaction once we were on site. There were four employees in the service office when I dropped off and picked up my car; I would think one of those could have followed up on my car and called me. I am just glad that I didn’t sit in the waiting area for three hours waiting for my car. I feel that I wasted 2 hours of my time needlessly. One problem I could have understood; but the large number of issues on one service is hard to fathom, and indicates to me a lack of customer care from a number of employees. This service appointment was definitely not a pleasant experience. I would recommend using another Honda dealership, or find an independent mechanic that values your time and stresses customer service. More

Great experience picking out a CRV My husband and I were in the market for a new CRV and went to Rushmore Honda to get more information. We were quickly greeted by Nick Thurman, who was very informative and helpful when it came to helping us decide if we wanted to purchase or lease a CRV. He was very friendly, and made sure to get to know us a bit to make sure he was giving us a vehicle that would meet our expectations and needs as a growing family. He was very personable and never came across like a typical 'salesman' that can be found at other dealerships. After deciding to lease a 2016 CRV, we came back to the dealership and worked with Duke as well. Duke was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. He helped us compare different vehicles, and gave us all the details on the differences between models. He was willing to crunch numbers and run different scenarios for us multiple times in order for us to get to a number we felt comfortable with going forward. He was very honest with us as well, which we really appreciated throughout this process as first time leasers. While everyone we came into contact with at Rushmore Honda were very friendly to us, Nick and Duke stood out exponentially to us, and made the experience stress free and easy. We are so grateful to them for their help, and are loving our new CRV. More

Wonderful I can't say enough about my experience with Duke and the other people I dealt with at Honda. Having to deal with the stress and all after my husbands I can't say enough about my experience with Duke and the other people I dealt with at Honda. Having to deal with the stress and all after my husbands death in April and trying to decide what to do with the two Hondas I had it was quite a relief to have someone like Duke. He has been very patient with me and answered all my questions and never once indicated he was wishing I would go away. I always feel like I can stop by any time with a question. More

Mel always returned our phone calls and answered our questions, giving us what we thought a fair trade for our car. We really appreciated him coming in on his day off and helping the transaction go smoothly. The perks of a Honda cap and free car wash coupon were great, too! When we returned the car to complete the "add-ons" that we wanted, the shop manager was very cordial and was able to provide us with a loaner, even on short notice. Over all, everyone we encountered at the dealership was very friendly and helpful. More

Maybe its the new building, but whatever, the welcome overall feeling was missing. Duke was great, like I said, and our finance fellow did a good job too, but no one else even spoke to us. And walked by us numerous times. You guys need to work on that as it will cost you business. A big Thank you to Duke and finance man. Not impressed with the rest of them. But really like the Pilot.
