Terry, on the other hand, dealt with us in a condescending manner and, while he knew we were not pleased, he made no effort to accommodate our wishes. In retrospect, we should not have completed the deal. The sales strategy of the salesman having to check with a manager (or someone else) on the financial part of the deal really sets up the car buying experience to be a negative one when it should be a fun and exciting time. Rather, in our case, we were finally just worn down enough to want the experience over. More

I would high recommend anyone to this dealership, as it was the most pleasant experience we've had buying a car. The biggest turnoff for me is when a dealership tries to lowball you on a trade-in price for your vehicle. They came back with a more than fair offer, so I didn't have to hassle them on price. When a dealership doesn't offer a fair price, I will just walk out the door. The entire staff was easy to work with. We will definitely be back! More

I purchased a 2013 Pilot in October (NOT from RH) that suddenly decided to stop accelerating at particularly dangerous times. I used the "ask a tech" feature on the website first and communicated with Beth, who gave me some ideas of the problem and offered to get me in immediately. Matt, one of the techs, sat in on a test drive with me to get a sense of the issue. My poor Pilot needed an entire day of diagnosis, so RH's courtesy drivers (Don and James) kindly ferried my friend and me to my doctor's appointment and then to lunch/the mall to wait out the results. When we discovered the truck needed a new transmission--and I was supposed to be taking the truck to Colorado in mere days--Jacob not only rushed the order, but scheduled my truck immediately so it was ready for the trip. While the truck was in the shop, they loaned me a Honda Civic, no cost. Everyone was friendly, accessible, and communicative about the status of my truck. The quality of service was outstanding and I'll be a client for life. More

We were travelling across country from Virginia to Washington, and simply needed a licence plate holder since our temporary tag on our newly purchased (from worse dealer ever in Virginia) Odyssey was falling off. We pulled into a parking spot so my husband could go in to purchase the holder and some additional screws. Before he could get out of the car, a service person came to us to see what he could help us with....we were in complete AWE! And then the next 15 minutes from there just got better...almost beyond belief that this type of personalized service even still existed!!!! I apologize that I do not remember the names of the multiple people that helped us get a license plate cover, screws, and a new lightbulb for map light....(all simple things we had asked our "home" dealership for at time of purchase and never received)...and for free of charge. We seriously thought we had maybe had an accident and gone to heaven it was such an out of body experience, WOW!!!! And, it did not stop there....when our brakes overheated in the Tetons, my husband called Rushmore Honda for advice...and instead of laughing at our ignorance to driving mountains, they simply told us what to do and what to watch for in regards to possible brake damage. We will always proudly drive our Odyssey with ILOVEMYHONDA and RUSHMORE HONDA license plate holder...we truly hope that it brings you lots of business because you deserve it!! You not only restored our trust in dealerships...but made us think about moving to South Dakota too! THANK YOU!!!!!! More
Car Salesman Great Finance Director Not So Much I want to first start off this review by saying the salesman I worked with, Ryan Jones was the most friendly and helpful car salesman I've ever worked I want to first start off this review by saying the salesman I worked with, Ryan Jones was the most friendly and helpful car salesman I've ever worked with. Although this was my first experience purchasing a car myself I had met my fair share of slimy salesman before I made my way to Rushmore Honda. Ryan was honest and patient in my decision making process and was in no way shady or pushy as I chose the vehicle I wanted quickly. I was wanting to finance through the dealership and specifically dealt with Josh Quigley. Soon after finding out there had been some miscommunication with the warranty that came with the certified pre owned vehicle, Josh and I discussed what the warranty actually entailed and I chose to read the paperwork more carefully. At that point Josh seemed very annoyed and told me "this isn't going to work", referring to the paperwork then said "don't read the paperwork just sign" pointing his pen to the lines that needed my signature. This was not only appalling because as a finance director you should want your clients to be completely aware of what they're signing but also concerning because he'd be handling a legally binding contract. I tried to ignore his attitude towards my new found worry that shadowed my excitement as I hastily went through the paper work with more concern than I had started with while also being told he'd have an interest rate at 3.2 percent (what my bank quoted me) the next day. The interest rate he came back to me with the following morning was double that and wasn't from either bank we discussed let alone my own which he never mentioned contacting, I chose to do that myself. Now, I hadn't financed any vehicle prier to this, maybe I should have known financing through a dealership wasn't a good idea however, the way he went about the whole finance process, before and after I decided to go through my own bank was unprofessional. Josh was disrespectful to myself and my friend who was with me while I was in his office going over the contract as he repeatedly told me to do all the things a finance director wouldn't dream of, mind you, it was the end of the work day on a Wednesday, he should have never rushed me the way he did. Josh was also unprofessional and rude to my loan officer I worked with from my personal bank, being almost childish as she communicated with him that I would no longer be financing with his help. Overall I am in love with my 2014 Honda Civic and very pleased with the customer service Ryan Jones and Steve Michelson gave to me. I would recommend buying a vehicle from Rushmore Honda and may do so again sometime in the future. However, I would refuse to work with Josh Quigley. More
