On a recent trip from chicago to rapid city, we had a tire pressure gauge light up on our car when temps were 97 and 98 degrees. On june 8th, we took it into the dealership and received immediate service tire pressure gauge light up on our car when temps were 97 and 98 degrees. I always choose to work with Zack Tague when I go in. He's seriously the best. He's friendly, knowledgeable, and so so helpful. Rushmore Honda is very honest, and tell you what needs to be done. They aren't cheating you out of money (like some places I've worked with are known for!). I expect my car to have a long, happy life because of the care it gets here. Wouldn't trust any one else in this city to take care of my car. Can't go wrong with Rushmore Honda. More

I had previous regular maintenance done and was pleased with the staff and work performed. When it came time to replace my tires, I chose to return to Rushmore Honda. The estimate process was seamless, as well as the scheduling of an appointment. The installation was done as promised and I was very pleased with the entire experience. I will happily recommend Josh, Sheila and the service staff at Rushmore Honda. More
Over two days to replace front brake pads. Bottom line up front: Made an appointment to replace the front brake pads and it took them two and half days to complete the maintenance. Then tell me that they are done and they close at two. I do not recommend you take your vehicle to get it serviced here. Full issue below if anyone cares: Wow, what can I say about the service I received at this place. I made an appointment to get the brake pads replaced and brought the car in on time the day of the appointment. Two hours later, I receive a call that they don't have the parts and will have to over night them. Okay, why was the appointment made and why did you take the car if you are not able to complete this simple maintenance. No problem, keep the car over night and get to it once the parts come in. Well the next day they messed up and did not order over night so the part didn't come in until the next day. We had the car there from Thursday to Saturday for a very easy issue. Then I get a call on Saturday at 1215 to let me know the car was finished. I let them know that as soon as my wife comes home, we will be on way to go get it. The customer service agent told me to be advised that they close at 2. Wow, so you had my car for two and a half days for break pad replacements and no decency to at least say that you will stay open till I get there or send a shuttle to come get me. Not sure if anyone else has had issues at this place but I assure you they have lost some loyal customers from taking our vehicles in for service and now from even buying a vehicle from this place as I just can't trust them. More

C) Respected MY time by having paperwork prepared, even with my 30 minute early arrival! D) Sheila gave ME direct "Eye Contact" during the entire process. E) She gave ME a detailed description of the service, without the insistence for an "Up-sale" F) It was "A Dark and Stormy Day"...When the service was completed, Sheila procured a space inside the service bay instead of leaving MY Honda parked in the blizzard, Thank YOU Sheila !!! More

Try to sell extra service Didn’t appreciate the list of things I really should have done, even though they were not needed. That is not his you try to get more business, that is a turn -off!!!! More
GREAT SALESMAN I have been shopping for a car for approximately one year. I usually looked around on Sundays to avoid car salesmen!! We happen to be in Rapid City on a Saturday and had no intention of buying a Honda or a new car for that matter. We were at another dealership looking at cars. The pressure of a salesman caused us to leave that dealership when we "ended up" at Honda. We had planned on eventually that day going to look at another dealership yet. I had specific colors and cars in mind. Daniel Johnson at Rushmore Honda "welcomed" us while I was looking at a Honda that caught my eye. Daniel was friendly, informative and not pushy. After visiting with him and looking at different vehicles and test driving one, we decided to think about it and go have lunch. Due to the sales approach of Daniel, we decided to go back and purchase a Honda from him rather that go to the other dealership we planned to go to that day. He was so easy to work with and clearly explained everything. Now I love my Honda and would recommend a Honda and doing business with Daniel. Even completing the paperwork with Chad Johnson was great. I have heard some "horror" stories about people shopping for vehicles but this experience was a great one. It goes to show that quality customer service is so important. More

I had an awful experience with a different salesperson from a different Denny Menholt dealership who had run my credit before he even checked to see if the vehicle was available. Turns out it wasn't. I then found the vehicle that I wanted. I test drove it with another person, but that person left me to go work with some other customers. I was ready to buy that day. We then left. I decided to give it another try and that's when Jake came and helped me. If it wasn't for him I don't think I would have bought this vehicle that I now own and love. Jake was highly knowledgeable, relateble, and kind. He was empathetic towards my needs and made the buying process run so smooth. I had my three kiddos with me (all under 5) and he accommodated for them. He let me leave to give the kiddos a break. Meanwhile, he would call and text me every step of the way to always keep me informed. Although initially I had a bad experience, Jake turned that experience around. As long as he is working for Rushmore Honda, he will be my go-to car guy. I highly recommend that he should be yours as well! More
