Love my “new”car! This was a very pleasant experience! I found a car in an online search and drove to the dealership. Beware of out of state sales I purchased a vehicle from Dennis Sneed Ford from out of state. I specifically asked them if they did out of state sales and they assured me that the I purchased a vehicle from Dennis Sneed Ford from out of state. I specifically asked them if they did out of state sales and they assured me that they do. However for someone like me that doesn't buy vehicles regularly trusted that they would take care of the process and relay any important information to me that would be necessary. Well that didn't happen. I scraped up my down payment of $4,000 and signed all necessary documentation. Come to find out that Missouri is one of a few states that doesn't do the registration process unless you ask them too?? Since they are one of only a few states that do it this way, and I don't buy cars frequently, this would have been some information that I would have liked to discuss with them, or at least know about during this purchase. So now I am stuck trying to register this vehicle myself and having to pay an additional $4,200 in taxes and registration fees that were not added into the loan I am currently paying on. So basically I have payments on a vehicle that I can't afford to register. I didn't have $8200 for a down payment they knew that going in. I have contacted them numerous times now about having the loan backed out and reprocessed with the addition cost to have the vehicle registered, but have never received a response or phone call from the individual they keep telling me is in charge of that. BEWARE OF OUT OF STATE SALES, They just don't give you all the information. More
