In May 2007, I leased a 1995 Gmc pickup, I was only 19 at the time and just happy to be approved to get a decent vehicle to get me to work. I paid faithfully for 2 years of the 3 year lease when I lost my jo the time and just happy to be approved to get a decent vehicle to get me to work. I paid faithfully for 2 years of the 3 year lease when I lost my job. When the 25th payment was 17 days late they repo'd the vehicle. I went to Dennis Dillon's Treasure Valley (Northwest) leasing (Changed their name to escape bad image) to collect the property out of the vehicle and was verbally assaulted by the manager, he used many swear words very loudly in my face and called me a deadbeat. I told him I just wanted my stuff and no trouble, he told me they are very aggressive with default lessees and that they would "bend me over in the courtroom" to get the remaining balance of the lease. The trucks current value is $4500 and I owe $5400 they filed a $5,000 small claim against me without any proof that the vehicle was even sold at auction. I had just put $2500 into the truck months before the repo for mechanical repairs. I know I can't possibly owe them $5,000 in differential, but it's hard to say what kind of papers my signature is on. I would gladly pay the difference between actual auction selling price and remaining lease debt, but they're obviously shooting for higher goals. It's possible someone in the company bought the truck for 1$ at their own "private auction" and I'm supposed to pay for property I don't receive. Idaho is a very red state so I'm sure the big corporation will be allowed to step on the little guy. More
I bought a new Mazda6, fully loaded, from this dealership. Had each oil changed done on time in the service dept. Not even a year after purchasing my vehicle it began to leak under the engine. I b dealership. Had each oil changed done on time in the service dept. Not even a year after purchasing my vehicle it began to leak under the engine. I brought this to the service dept. attention when have my oil changed (in March) I was told that it was a small leak and that it didn't need fixing until I wanted to start using my A/C. They recommended that I return in a month or so. I set a date for 2 weeks later because I wanted it fixed asap. 3 days later my car was dead on the side of the road. The entire radiator blew. It just happened to be a Sunday and their rental company was closed. Stuck on the side of the road with 2 youngs kids and all I was offered was a tow truck. I called Team Mazda who had my car towed in 20 minutes and had me in one of their own cars off their lot. I will never return to Dennis Dillon for any vehicle needs. I also regret referring a total of 6 people to this dealership who all purchased new vehicles. If this is the treatment you get when you buy a new vehicle with a warranty imagine how you will be treated if you buy a used one! BUYER BEWARE!! More

They are, collectively, the epitome of the stereotypical used car salesman. This should be their next ad... Buy Your Next Car Here! - Zero Integrity - Zero Ethics - Bad Business Practices used car salesman. This should be their next ad... Buy Your Next Car Here! - Zero Integrity - Zero Ethics - Bad Business Practices - Inflated prices The ad said they had cars for as low as $5,000. There was exactly zero cars available for anything near that low. I asked if they would include a keyless entry device; a very inexpensive add on for the car I selected, which may have been included from the factory. They said it wasn't possible to add that option to the car. Only after signing the contract did I find it is possible, but they had a signed contract (signed under the pretense that it wasn't possible to add a keyless entry device) and there was no way they would cover the cost; the very low cost considering I paid their full asking price for the vehicle. Clearly, they will tell you anything to get you to sign the contract and get you out the door. What they won't do is exercise due diligence to find honest answers to your questions. They hide behind a contract that protects only them. They won't research questions, tell you where you can get parts, offer honest recommendations, or anything else that might lead you to believe they care about future business or the good of their employer...or maybe this is the kind of people Dennis Dillon wants working for him. Either way, I'll never buy another car there! More

A friend of mine purchased a new car at the Big Lot. The car came with a 100,000 mile/ 7 year factory warranty. The sales staff pressured my friend into also purchasing a service contract for 100,000 miles car came with a 100,000 mile/ 7 year factory warranty. The sales staff pressured my friend into also purchasing a service contract for 100,000 miles/6 years. I would like to know what the purpose of this extra $1695.00 is, but no one at the dealership can tell us. I asked for the general manager and was transferred (twice) to someone who is on vacation all week. Seems to be a serious lack of knowledge at this dealership. Last time I visited the dealership, there was some poor lady crying her eyes out because they sold her a car that self-destructed, and they were yelling at her that it wasn't their fault. Not a dealership that I'd want to visit ever again!!! More
At first visit the sales staff seemed very friendly and helpful to make a sale. I was told the used vehicle I bought was completely checked out and serviced and in great condition with no mechanical probl helpful to make a sale. I was told the used vehicle I bought was completely checked out and serviced and in great condition with no mechanical problems. After a few hours of driving this vehicle it overheated. I found out the next day after the purchase that the engine head gaskets were blown allowing the radiator anti freeze to leak into the engine oil. The mechanic who made the diagnosis informed me that the condition had existed for quite a period of time and that when the oil was changed when serviced this condition would have been evident. I feel the dishonesty of the dealer violates good faith in customer trust and demonstrates only greed. Though I signed a form of "as is" I was lead to believe the car was in excellent condition but because it was a used vehicle this form is standard. Buyers beware of any dealings on used vehicles from this dealership or having customer trust. No integrity More
