Dennis Dillon Failed Us! Don't ever do business with Dennis Dillon Nissan! After receiving extensive engine service from Dennis Dillon Nissan Service on our Nissan Pathfinder Don't ever do business with Dennis Dillon Nissan! After receiving extensive engine service from Dennis Dillon Nissan Service on our Nissan Pathfinder 3/19/14, our vehicle broke down on Highway 80 between Winnemucca, NV and Reno, NV on 3/22/14. We heard a loud noise in the engine compartment and lost power steering. After our family spent 4 hours in the desert waiting roadside service, we were towed to Reno, NV arriving at 10pm Saturday evening. Our Nissan was left with Nissan of Reno for repair-which wouldnt be completed until the next Wednesday. We spent the night in a motel (this was supposed to be a one day drive) and rented a vehicle to continue our trip for a California family Spring Break vacation. On our way back home to Idaho we were informed by Cal Trans requiring snow chains for the Sierra Nevada Mountains. We purchased chains to fit the rental vehicle on the way. If we had had our Nissan Pathfinder, we would not have been delayed with the purchase and subsequent tire chain application, causing us to miss the window of opportunity to pass thru the mountain range before Cal Trans closed the highway sending cars back West. We then had to spend the night in a hotel waiting for the highway to clear (this was supposed to be a one day trek). Dennis Dillon Nissan failed to successfully screw on the radiator fan, causing it to fall off and disengage the serpentine belt as well. This also resulted in loss of power steering. We submitted an invoice of our out-of-pocket expenses incurred during this experience, but Joe Mueller of Dennis Dillon refused to pay. More
We purchased a Mazda 2 from this dealer and negotiated the deal via email, telephone and fedEx'd contracts-- then flew in and picked up the car and drove back to Oakland, California. They made every step the deal via email, telephone and fedEx'd contracts-- then flew in and picked up the car and drove back to Oakland, California. They made every step as easy as it could be-- and their price was the lowest in the country (per AutoTrader search)!! Their new Mazda was the same price as a Hertz rental sales two year old Mazda in Oakland. More

You gave us a car fax with history/owner of the vehicle refuse!! We have been looking for a Chevy Silverado and it was the first truck we looked at! You gave us a car fax with history/owner of the vehicle without me asking. You were honest with us showing your dealership had nothing to hide on the deal for the truck. This truck so far is the best vehicle we have!!! Thanks so much John for a wonderful deal. Merry Xmas with ur family! From the Barraza family More
Don't even think about trying a trade in here. I have a 2006 scion avg trade in of 5800, they offered me 3120 and wanted 2500 more down. I called this dealership due to the fact i was looking to buy a brand new jeep. Jeep offers $500.00 to veterans and they had a jeep priced right so i was interested. I was told in order for me to qualify for buy a brand new jeep. Jeep offers $500.00 to veterans and they had a jeep priced right so i was interested. I was told in order for me to qualify for the sales price i either had to be a 20 year veteran retired, active duty or a real estate agent. I was told that i didnt qualify due to my status of only being a diabled veteran. I feel I paid my dues and served 4 years and got injured while on duty before i got discharged. I did try to reup for another four but was denied due to my disabilty I suffered while in. I guess serving and being injured while on duty isnt good enough to qualify for the discount. I ended up going to the jeep dealership over at Edmark super center and they not only gave me the discount but also thanked me for my service to the country! I will NEVER go to Dennis Dillon again and will tell as many people about how rude they were to me and how apparently they dont think being injured while on active duty is reason enough to qualify for the discount while other dealerships do! Shame on you Dennis Dillon dealership! It is because of ALL veterans that we have our freedom in this country! More

We do not live in Idaho so we were working closely with a salesman named Bill Schultz to make sure the truck we were interested in was exactly what we wanted. Bill stated he would drive the truck and text us salesman named Bill Schultz to make sure the truck we were interested in was exactly what we wanted. Bill stated he would drive the truck and text us that it was getting for mileage. Bill texted 18 mpg in the city and 24mpg with the wind. He mentioned several other things but the text was too long to rewrite here in this complaint. We also asked him to do a complete inspection of the inside and outside and tell us what the flaws are on the truck. Bill advised my husband that the truck was completely clean with no flaws, as a matter of fact he said “it is the nicest truck I have seen in the area.” We reviewed multiple pictures online and did not see any defects. After all that we finally flew to Idaho. The truck we were shown when we got there was not what Bill and the dealership represented. The mileage was 16 mpg freeway and the exterior did not have one place on it that was not scratched, dented or replaced. The tailgate had been replaced and a cheap after market paint job with fish eyes was the finish. The passenger tail light was broken and the truck looked like it had just come in from an extended hunting trip through the brush. The pictures online were low resolution and hid the flaws on the truck. Mountain Home Auto Ranch offered a travel voucher however once we got there they stated they were not going to give us a voucher because it was not their fault that we did not like their truck. They agreed to drive us back to the airport, (how kind) and on the way back to the airport the engine started to shimmy and almost died at the red light. They misrepresented the vehicle and we were stuck in Boise with no flights home or travel compensation as promised. Mountain Home Auto Ranch should be responsible for our out of pocket expenses...it was NOT that we did just "did not like" their car, as they stated, they were completely dishonest. The truck we saw when we arrived is not what they said during multiple phone calls. We lost a lot of money on this verbal deal and Mountain Home Auto Ranch would not take any responsibility, honor their voucher and for that matter was not even remorseful or nice after everything we went through due to their dishonesty. These immoral business practices should be illegal. DO NOT take your business to Mountain Home Auto Ranch, tell you friends and family and save them money and time. I am sitting in a hotel room with no flights available and I want to get home to my family. I bet the owner of Mountain Home is home with his family tonight. ***FYI Dennis Dillon is the same family that owns Mountain Home Auto Ranch*** More
