Justin did alll he could to make our visit go as smoothly as possible. He is knowledgeable about the product. We had to wait quite a bit during both visits, but I don't think this was Justin's fault. He e as possible. He is knowledgeable about the product. We had to wait quite a bit during both visits, but I don't think this was Justin's fault. He encouraged me to call if I have any questions and I did. He assured me he will call me tomorrow when the service desk opens with the answer to my question. If Justin doesn't know the answer, I feel confident he will find it out. More
Justin Prather was the salesperson we dealt with when we bought our Rav 4. We went into the dealership not really expecting to buy. We were only going to look at a truck which is what we were thinking we wa bought our Rav 4. We went into the dealership not really expecting to buy. We were only going to look at a truck which is what we were thinking we wanted. We looked at the trucks and decided that we really did not need a truck. He spent some time with us talking and we decided to look at the Rav 4. We test drove it. We asked about leasing as opposed to buying outright.Justin worked with us and we came to an agreement. We called him several times and he always was pleasant and helpful. We think we are hooked on Toyota. More
We can honestly say that this was the best car buying experience we've ever had. Honestly, from the moment we met Neil, both my husband and I knew that he was not the run of the mill car salesman, he was experience we've ever had. Honestly, from the moment we met Neil, both my husband and I knew that he was not the run of the mill car salesman, he was different. We appreciate the way he treated us always with the utmost respect, professionalism, honesty and consideration. Once we had selected our vehicle and returned from our test drive we prepared ourselves for the negotiating ordeal. To our surprise, Neil gathered some information and in a very short time returned to his desk with figures and financing options that fit comfortably within our budget. Honestly, we were expecting the worse and we prepared ourselves for the typical back and forth business. It never happened and we thank Neil and the friendly team of managers for making this a stress free purchase. My husband is a diabetic and desperately needed to eat, Neil brought us a menu from a neighboring restaurant and in less than 20 minutes we had a delicious meal brought to us at his desk. Yet another example of what made working with Neil and Deluca Toyota an absolute pleasure. I could go on and on but will just end by saying thank you Neil for coming to our home and saving us a return trip the next day. We drove off the Deluca Toyota property in our beautiful new vehicle satisfied beyond belief and we highly recommend Neil to all our friends and family. Deluca Toyota is extremely fortunate to have him. More
When I first got to the dealership, I got somewhat of a run-around; I was passed off from salesman to salesman, because the person that I had initially spoken with on the phone wasn't in. That was somewhat run-around; I was passed off from salesman to salesman, because the person that I had initially spoken with on the phone wasn't in. That was somewhat frustrating, especially since I had drive from two hours away just to specifically purchase from this dealership. It sort of felt like my business wasn't important. We were approached by a salesman, though, who asked if we needed help, so we went with him (Justin Prather). He was very friendly and helpful, which made up for the initial bad experience. Justin was very helpful and really went to bat for us with getting the fair price that we wanted. Enoch Mikell was also quite helpful, though I did seem to have some communication issues with him after I had left the dealership. I had called and left a couple of messages, neither of which were returned. I only received a call from him (not a response to my initial phone calls) to ask about my credit union's information. When I called him back, I left a message on his cell phone, which I assumed he would return more promptly than his office phone. That was over two and a half weeks ago, and I still haven't received a response. That's something that was a little discouraging, as well. It would definitely be much better customer service to have even/especially the people in finance be as accessible as the salesman (Justin Prather) that had helped me. More

This story probably happens at most car dealers, however, the deception here was so blantant that I felt the need to warn others. After shopping around and comparing makes, models and prices, we received the deception here was so blantant that I felt the need to warn others. After shopping around and comparing makes, models and prices, we received a follow-up call from DeLuca toyota and an email with a price of 32K + tax + tags + $594 dealer prep, for a 2012 Highlander SE i4 6 speed auto trans with msrp of $34,800. BEWARE: Florida does NOT have the 3 day cooling off period most states have for dealer purchases. I called back and said I wanted 0% financing and asked how would that affect his price quote, salesman said, yes, there is a 750 cashback on that deal, but Mr Deluca was not going to lose the deal because of that, so I assumed that was the agreed to price. (Later when we got to the dealer, salesman also commented several times that sure, why use your own money, use someone else's money, it won't cost you anything.) To make a long story short, the finance person never explained the contract line by line and I signed it (my mistake). After a lenghty discussion, he talked me into a pre-paid maintenance deal for $862. After gettting home and going over line by line, I noticed the sales price was now 32,864 rather than 32K. When I had signed it, to my confusion, there was the $862 for the maintenace and another $2 charge for something else listed in the details below the sales price, so, in the rush of things (again that was my fault for letting that "rush" happen...I mistakenly had assumed that this $864 was INCLUDED in the 32864 price. NOT SO, everthing was ADDED on to that price. After calling the dealer back, they said they honored the 32K price but the addtl $$$ was the cash back that I lost due to zero financing, excuse me, no one stated that to me as we proceeded through the process, and, why was it 32864 versus 32750, which they have not yet explained that to me since I complained. In short, after a brief discussion with the General Sales Manager and my salesman, they said they would call me back in a few minutes. That was last Thursday and we have not heard a word from them since. To close, In writing, I gave the dealer until 2/24 to make good on what I believed was their committment to a 32K price. They did not respond, so I sent a follow-up email to the dealer stating our relationship is over stating to them that our new vehicle will never see the site of their service dept as I will go to Phillips Toyota in Leesburg. I researched BBB, Deluca and Phillips are not BBB accredited (I'm sure most car dealers do not apply for accredation), however, DeLuca has several complaints registered while Phillips has had NONE. If anyone else has had unpleasant experiences you should share them with others so they can have a better buying experience. Take your calulator to every deal, walk away and review for 24hrs, then, if you still are good to go, go back and close deal. PS: I took off Deluca's license plate holder and removed their label that was adhered to the rear door panel ... (hair dryer took off, but then had to remove residual glue) More
