Barbara, While Delray Hyundai appreciates all feedback, what you are claiming in your above review is just untrue. We contacted Hyundai directly, on your behalf, as you did, and they told us the same thing. Yes, your vehicle was under warranty for the engine. Unfortunately, the Hyundai warranty did not cover the entire cost, and you would be responsible for the difference. This is not the dealership's fault. The warranty is fulfilled by Hyundai the manufacturer directly. This was explained to you by both our service director and your service advisor. As for the rental, there were two issues here. One you decided to use your own rental company. Also, your warranty gives you $30 a day as stated in the manufacturer agreement. As a courtesy, Hyundai, the manufacturer, expanded the per diem to $35 a day. Richard Thomas, our service director has been reaching out to you daily to go over the details. While Delray Hyundai is here to help, any claim or discrepancy needs to be communicated through your warranty directly to Hyundai. We welcome you to call Richard and he will help facilitate this.
