We went shopping to purchase a new or used Sonata. Prior to going to Delray Hyundai we went to other dealers in the area. We decided to purchase a Sonata. The salesman was very nice, friendly and NOT Prior to going to Delray Hyundai we went to other dealers in the area. We decided to purchase a Sonata. The salesman was very nice, friendly and NOT AT ALL OVERBEARING. We decided that if this dealer would offer us a good deal, this would be our last stop in our searching for a car. They had a large inventory of cars, in the colors and with the options we were looking for. We test drove about six different cars. My husband asked if they had any specials. They had a 2 year old car that had everything I was looking for. It had 10,000 miles, was in mint condition and came with the same 100,000 mile warranty a brand new car came with. This this the first pre-owned car we have ever purchased. The whole sales process went very smoothly. Working with finance department was a pleasure. In and out in less than 45 minutes. The friendliness and experience you will have there is night and day from the experience at Delray Hyundai. The dealership in Delray reconfirmed today why I didn't lease my Hyundai from them 3 years ago. I have no idea why there are favorable marks for this dealership because they are absolutely the worst in customer service!!!!! Three years ago, while in the market to lease a new vehicle, we drove to Delray Hyundai because it was closest to our home. When we walked in the dealership (which by the way is disgusting compared to Napleton Hyundai), we had to look for someone to assist us. We finally came upon a sales person, who I can describe as tall, probably in his late 50's/60's with slick-backed blondish curly hair. When we inquired about the Sonata, we were told to "go outside and look around" and let him know if we were interested. All the vehicles were locked, so we couldn't really get a "feel" for the car. When we went back in to talk to him about taking a drive in one, he asked if we could come back another day. We went to Napleton Hyundai that same day, got exceptional service and leased a new Limited Sonata. Well, my lease is now up and after having the final inspection completed, called the finance company to see if I could return it to Delray because it was closer to our home. I was told yes I could do that and I contacted the Delray dealership to arrange a time to bring it in. I left a message for the Lease return manager; however did not receive a return call. I waited to the following day, still had not received a return call and called them again. I spoke with a sales person who said to bring it in and someone would help us. We drove to the dealership only to be confronted again by the same rude sales person we met 3 years ago, who told us we could not return it to them. The excuse was that they had no "spot" for it (I can only guess that the reason that they don't have a "spot" for it is because they can't move any of their stock). The General Manager had the same unfriendly and rude behavior and told us we had to bring it back to Napleton, which we did. I walked into Napleton Hyundai and was immediately greeted by a warm and friendly atmosphere. The sales person, Howard, was so accommodating ... we signed the necessary papers and went on our way ... no problem, whatsoever. I informed Howard of our experience with Delray Hyundai and hope that it gets passed on. I CAN'T EMPHASIS STRONGLY ENOUGH, THAT IF YOU ARE IN THE MARKET FOR A HYUNDAI TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO NAPLETON ON OKECHOBEE BLVD. The service department at Napleton is also exceptional!!!! More
