Great dealer, great salesman, great price! I leased my new 2016 Sonata over the phone, from Pennsylvania, without stepping into the dealership until the car was delivered. From the first conta I leased my new 2016 Sonata over the phone, from Pennsylvania, without stepping into the dealership until the car was delivered. From the first contact with Paul, the manager and then Gerry the salesman I was truly impressed. I was given a price that could not be touched by other dealerships in the area. All the paperwork was handled through FedEx. The car was ready for delivery the day I arrived in Delray beach. I cannot say enough good things about my experience and would recommend Delray Hyundai to anyone looking for a good deal and a professional experience. More

We did in fact visit a few other dealers but came right back to Delray Hyundai and bought the vehicle we were looking at. More

However, the car I wanted was not available at the dealer nor was it available locally. Delray Hyundai got the car from a dealer in Orlando. I was informed that my car would be driven down from Orlando and which is Delray Hyundai's policy. I would have preferred the option to have the car trucked. This policy added 185 miles on the car. The sale was closed after the car got to Delray Hyundai dealership. I brought that to the dealer's attention and was told that I will get the miles added to the record of the car for warranty purpose. My original bill of sale shows that I purchased the car with 2 miles. As promised, Delray Hyundai issued another bill of sale with the correct mileage. Nonetheless, I am pleased with my purchase and Michael Shaevitz, Internet Sales Manager, was professional and cordial. I will do business again with Delray Hyundai. More

Easy car buying experience January 5th was the last day to get year-end factory incentives by Hyundai. I had already window shopped to know that I was interested in an Elantra, January 5th was the last day to get year-end factory incentives by Hyundai. I had already window shopped to know that I was interested in an Elantra, just not sure the trim line and features, since a lot of that decision is based on price-value. I used Costco's Auto Program to start the process. They pointed me to Alan @ Delray Hyundai, but he was busy, so I worked with Michael Shaevitz, who is new to the dealership (but not to auto sales). We took another test drive of an Elantra SE, then looked at the pricing. Costco's program knocked $800 off dealer invoice - but that's offset by an $800 dealership fee, so the price is at dealer invoice (which is just $1K under MSRP). Then the factory incentives kicked in, knocking $3K off that price. Add all the other gov't taxes, fees, etc, and I was out-the-door with an Elantra Limited for $20K. I did shop other dealers via email. Coconut Creek Hyundai was willing to undercut Delray by $500, but Delray yielded on their dealer fee to match Coconut Creek's offer. I also visited King Hyundai in Deerfield; they were very nice, and I would have bought a vehicle there instead because they actually offered the Elantra Limited at a slightly lower cost, but it wasn't on the lot. Working with Mike was pleasant. He's affable and is genuinely trying to help. He didn't pester me with too much follow-up, but followed-up enough to show he was interested in earning my business. In all, a very smooth transaction. The financing guy was okay, although needlessly pressed for buying gap insurance (not everyone needs that, in fact, I'd say most people are much better off just assuming the risk that gap insurance covers). But once I was clear I didn't want it, he moved on. It was late on Tuesday, and everyone wanted to be done for the day, so there was no needless pressure to buy extra stuff beyond the actual vehicle. If I were in the market for another new car, I'd return to Delray Hyundai. Just know that the dealership's digs are very humble by comparison to other dealers. Hyundai is a value-priced brand, and that carries over to the dealership showroom. More
