So you live up north, NY, NJ or New England area without a Florida residency and yet your money is not any good here. It is discriminatory at best and an utterly ridiculous business practice. What if you have family and friends that are snowbirds in Florida and they are interested in a car….. Well you just lost that business. What if you know 20 families that live in GL Homes because you visit Florida on a regular basis and this comes up in conversation? More lost business. Dealerships are so greedy these days. They want all the money. The sale, the servicing, the referral business, the parts, etc. Well you just never know who you are talking to and this practice will without a doubt backfire in the end.
