Travis delivered a new vehicle to me in 8 days after I left a deposit. He had me out of the dealership within 2 hours for the purchase transaction which in my opinion is fast these days. Travis communicated clearly and promptly, demonstrated that he valued my time, and delivered the desired vehicle quickly when another area dealership struggled to get me one I had pre-ordered more than 3 months earlier. I was pleasantly surprised by the sales process and with my dealings with dealership staff. It was easy and I felt at ease throughout the sales process. My only issue with the dealership itself, which I have overcome through the price negotiation during the sale process and the fast transaction experience, is the cost of the dealer installed "Appearance Package" and their high for the local market area $999 pre-delivery service charge. The Appearance Package cannot be excluded from the sale of a vehicle and the service charge is what it is. For what is included within this appearance package, it is a bunch of items which are largely unnecessary, unwanted and marked up in multiples of what they cost actually the dealer. In the end though, given still limited vehicle supplies and MSRP+ pricing in effect within the marketplace, I feel I received a fair deal on my vehicle. I recognize that these charges are one way this dealership deals with MSRP+ pricing. Other dealerships have their own unique ways to pad the sales price (like adding Zurich Shield coverage or other "protections"). Until the auto market returns to more normal status, there is probably little a consumer purchaser can do but pay most of these add-ons. More
