SHADY BUSINESS! !! Was working with sales person Adam Clavette for a few weeks on a Honda Pilot. Price came down for the price I was looking at. Sent him a message 7 !! At 10 am, I called him and told him we wanted to move forward with the purchase of the vehicle. Asked for a buyers order signed and if we could put a down-payment/deposit on the car while I worked with credit union and drove down for car (out of state). I was told we could not put a DP/deposit on a car to "hold it" even while I was working with CU to get a check cut and head down for purchase. Asked for a revised buyers order around 1pm with additional information the bank needed. Got told he wasn't in but would send something as soon as possible. No response rest of the day. Friday morning came around, and the sales manager reached out about getting a revised buyer order. Once everything git situated, check cut and began the drive down. Got told someone made a deposit on the car the night before and went through with the sale. I have told Adam Clavette multiple times that we wanted to buy the car and completely screwed us over. There was definitely intentional discrimination. More
n 10/12/24 I drove into Delray Honda totally frustrated as I had been stuck in a parking lot with a dead battery the night before. This was 7PM in a church lot, dark and rainy and I knew my relatively new as I had been stuck in a parking lot with a dead battery the night before. This was 7PM in a church lot, dark and rainy and I knew my relatively new battery should have lasted. The next morning, after I got the battery jumped for $100, I arrived at the dealership and Mike Harris handled me calmly. As the battery was still under warranty, it was replaced free of charge. We discovered my splash shield was dragging, missing a clip; that got replaced. Of course tires were checked and fluids filled. BUT as I drove out I heard a "clapping" sound on the left front. I immediately turned back to find a short 6 sided nail imbedded in my tire. Absolutely no luck! Mike took care of that really quickly before I disintegrated on the spot! I am ETERNALLY GRATEFUL that I am a regular customer of Delray Honda, that they give such terrific service, that they are open on Saturdays for emergencies like mine, and they have such a sweetie and competent service consultant as Mike Harris!
