Here's a TRULY honest review I'm lost as to how these people got dealer of the year? I wouldn't have named names if I didn't have to, because I don't desire to throw any one pers I'm lost as to how these people got dealer of the year? I wouldn't have named names if I didn't have to, because I don't desire to throw any one person under the bus - this is a DEALERSHIP problem. After an initial and pleasant inquiring visit, I am invited back in to look at a car that from the description "fits my needs and price range." 3 1/2 hours later I am looking at paperwork to sign for a car that is completely different, (good ole bait and switch) at a price waaayy out of my region, while my license plate is being switched up and my Onstar service being set up. I don't know if they thought maybe because it was the end of the day and I would feel guilty holding up their time and not giving them the sale, or maybe I they thought I was desperate enough to get out of my old car, but for some reason, no one bothered to tell me how much the car I was "buying" cost, how much my monthly payments would be, NOTHING, until it was time to sign the paperwork. I did make a couple inquiries along the way and the response was - "don't worry, we're gonna give you a good deal" or "trust me, you're gonna be fine with the price." Now honestly, I was pretty calm about it, because at the end of the day I was not committing to anything I was not comfortable with. I am a woman on her 10th car purchase, so I know what I want. It is just the fact that they did this at all that completely disgusted me. Even shaking hands with me congratulating me on the new purchase - as if I'm just going to blindly, dumbly, sign my life away like that?! To make things worse, they were trying to force me into a downpayment situation I was not comfortable with, and maximized my preapproval loan amount, when I specifically said I don't want to go anywhere near the maximum I've been given to use. (Not that they were going with my loan company anyway - you know dealers always try to get you "a better deal"...) People like these are the reason that customers HATE going to dealerships! I purchased a new car elsewhere for a much better deal. I will be in the market for a Buick again in a few years, and when I am - I will go out of my way to avoid this place. More
