Excellent customer service I recently purchased a 2012 Buick Regal from Delray Buick. I already did my homework and found them to have the best car for the best price. So I drov I recently purchased a 2012 Buick Regal from Delray Buick. I already did my homework and found them to have the best car for the best price. So I drove from Jacksonville to purchase it, (about four hours) as a buyer, this puts you at an immediate disadvantage. Upon arrival I was greeted at the door by Mr. George. I must say I've dealt with many salespeople, he was by far the closest thing to a "real person" I met with. George was down to earth, but further than that he was extremely accommodating. Before we even drove the car I requested that we put it on the lift, so that I may personally inspect it. What I didn't know was that service was already closed, and only one tech was still there. Even still, George was able to swiftly grant my request, and the car was in the air in less than five minutes. It showed me that the dealership had nothing to hide, and beyond that, George seemed as if he would prefer that I inspect it myself so that I can make a more informed decision. I truly believe he had my best ingest at heart. Now after all the formalities were down and I was ready to purchase came the problem, I simply didn't have enough money after all the fees. That is when I met the used car manager, and the financing manager. I actually liked both of them, they seemed like the kind of people you could have fun with at a bar after a few beers, but that doesn't matter when someone is trying to sell you something. After strict negotiations didn't get us any closer to a deal, they wanted me to finance through the dealer. I must say I have no idea how good their financing dept. is, it may be friggin awesome, but I wasn't interested. George had mostly stepped aside at this point, and the managers and I went back and forth. It was clear to me they wanted to finance me through the dealer, and obvious to them I wasn't going to do that. So they left one last time to crunch the numbers, and I waited. They claimed that on the final offer they were making mere hundreds on the car, though I doubt that. With that said, it truly was a fair deal for both parties, perhaps even more so for me. At that point everything was pretty much a wrap, and all that was left was the signatures. All of the managers and I were able to joke about the process later, especially our tough negotiations. To be fair though, the sticker price on the vehicle was already a good deal, I just couldn't afford it. At any rate I would definitely recommend this dealership, as I had an overall great experience. Particularly with the salesman, George. After I purchased it, he was even kind enough to personally return my rental car that night after work, so that I wouldn't be charged for another day. Great man. Great dealer. More
