Went in to deland kia because they offered 6k above kelly blue book decided on a kia because of their warranty. My salesman Luis was not pushy and showed us what we wanted to see but then that was it. The ma blue book decided on a kia because of their warranty. The manager daniel stepped in and it was push push then the bait and switch, the 6k above kbb on my trade in was only one new cars, why because they just pretend to give you more on your trade in but actually the manager Daniel explained it to me on a new car he wouldn't actually be able to give me anything above the kbb he would just basically be able to give me a discount on a new car so it's like getting money above kbb. Still didn't do a new car purchased it used 14k miles it needed a good detail thou. I was told it would be completely detailed like new even the exhaust would be cleaned with a brush, that's what Daniel said he had great detailers. This was a Sunday evening, it took a while I had to wait for my car to get detailed got it before closing but it was still bad I had crumbs and sticky stuff in the console so they told me to bring it back the next day. I brought it back pointed out a couple stains on the roof and leather that needed to be cleaned but I also completely expected to have the crumbs cleaned and my car waxed which they hadn't done. Well again they only cleaned the stains I pointed out and nothing else. Then I had a deep scratch on my mirror. I was asked to bring it back in again third time they would take care of it and buff out the scratch, I wanted a new mirror but was refused. When I bring it back I leave my car there for 5 hours so no one is rushing when I pick it back up it had not be touched I was told they sold 17 cars that day and couldn't get to it but daniel never even called me to let me know. Frustrated and patient I bring it back my car a 4th time they have it 5 hours again they finished as I was arriving. I still wasn't happy with the work, how hard is it to get a car detailed by a detailing department I don't understand. Then my scratch turned into a dime size mark they tried to cover up with a glob of paint that looked horrible. I asked Daniel for a remedy for the mirror, I was going to do my own detail I did a much better job and Daniel ignored me after that. Well after telling me he tried to restore my used car as much as possible as if i bought something that needed restoring, just trying to get a clean car for 27k i think thats fair to ask. I was not happy with my service at all. Typical dealer lies and hustle. I also had to pay for my extended warranty it only comes on new cars but I didn't know that until I was signing my contract. Lifetime oil changes is a hustle too. It doesn't include all of it and honestly I'm afraid of taking my car to deland kia not sure what other damage I will have that they won't take responsibility for. More
