We called ahead of time to check if Lexus RX350 was still available. Dan Langley answered the phone and said yes, it’s available and he would have it ready for us to test drive it in half an hour that would available. Dan Langley answered the phone and said yes, it’s available and he would have it ready for us to test drive it in half an hour that would take us to get there. We drove from Lynnwood to Bellevue on our day off to test drive this car at the scheduled time, but when we got there, Dan informed us that the they were doing the inspection on the car and we had to wait for them to be done 20 minutes or so. We waited 40 minutes until the car arrived. We did a test drive and made a cash offer, but he told us there is zero price negotiation. Such a waste of time. When I asked why the car was being inspected at the time that was scheduled for us to test drive it, he did not answer my question, but gave a condescending long explanation how it’s important to have cars inspected. I would never even consider going back to this dealership. Awful experience. More
I recently purchased a car from Definitive Motors and the service was fantastic. The salesmen Patric kept me up to date on the arrival of the vehicle and he was happy to show me another option, as I wasn't p service was fantastic. The salesmen Patric kept me up to date on the arrival of the vehicle and he was happy to show me another option, as I wasn't particularly sold on the car we had went there to see. He was able to take my feedback and show me something that I really loved. The tranasacion was quick and they gave me 5 days to drive the car and make sure i was happy, before purchasing. I would definatley recommend this dealer if you are in need of a new/used car. Thank you Patric! More
Please, please, please take your time and review your contract in regards to anything they said was added as a courtesy at no charge!! I found out a no charge 1 year extended warranty actually cost me ov contract in regards to anything they said was added as a courtesy at no charge!! I found out a no charge 1 year extended warranty actually cost me over 2,000!! They also threw in GAP insurance (800.00)without my awareness! Women DO NOT GO IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT ALONE. Take a male friend or family member! Nice looking cars, but since I had the car less than a year I have spent out of pocket nearly 4,000 in repairs. The “free extended warranty” did not even cover the repairs. Oan when I reached out to complain to the owner/GM, he told me the sales agent was his long time time buddy. He responded who should he believe, him or me.. lol.. I only laugh about this because I understand how greed works. The Universe will find a way to balance out the deeds of those not in righteous alignment. And that is not my business. I truly want to warn ALL consumers of slimy business practice!! BEWARE More
Please if you are a single women! Beware!! Take a knowledgeable mechanic or male with you are get screwed! First of all I noticed a car I liked, I called and found that it was not a great choice. I d knowledgeable mechanic or male with you are get screwed! First of all I noticed a car I liked, I called and found that it was not a great choice. I decided that I did not want to move forward. I later received a text message from Fred the general manager basically begging me to come and take a look at the car because of the great condition his brother kept the car. He was a mechanic he said that took great car of the car and had all the maintenance on it done. . So I did go out and take a look at the car of course I loved it it’s a Mercedes GL 450 it’s very nice clean looking vehicle. They suckered me for an extended warranty saying that they threw it in but really charged me. As I was so excited the sales rep just flipped through the paperwork. Pointing on the lines to sign. Totally my fault! SLOW DOWN AND READ. They handed me the keys to a beautiful, what appeared to be a well kept vehicle. WRONG!! About a month 1/2 after I purchased the vehicle I start smelling an exhaust Burning smell and took it back to them to look at. They gave me a clearance saying that nothing was wrong and gave me a free oil change which I was very happy about. I was planning a relocation due to a bad situation, so I shipped the vehicle to my sisters home in Texas. She started the car once a week for me Until I came the following month. While on the freeway from Dallas to Austin with five small children in the vehicle the car all of the sudden would not steer. We almost lost our lives!! When I reached out to the dealer about the warranty they told me it did not cover what it is that was wrong with the car. I had the car towed to a shop they told me that a pulley have broken and it was just from old age but had caused every other fully attached to it to malfunction because the broken pieces flew into them, which require them all to be repaired. CostIng me $2500. I reached out to Fred since he’s the one that texted me and convinced me to come and took a look at the car after I declined the sale initially. I told him about my spoons with the sales rep in the warranty that was thrown in and that I signed for moronically and he got emotional, and upset. I asked him to not take it personal I was just expressing my experience and to stay businesslike. He responded by saying that he has known his sales rep 15 years and he would not do that. He also told me that he was going to call me on a conference call with the sales rep, I’ve never received that call to date. I would have gladly excepted that interaction. Despite it all I would have purchased the warranty anyway I just did not like the way I was made to believe it was something they were doing as a incentive in my purchase. I was told that I did not follow protocol because I allowed the shop to repair more than the first pulley that has broken and no one told me to go to the most expensive auto repair shop in Texas. Well since I just moved here I went by reviews. I know no one in the city I was in. They sent a total of $650 towards the repair and left me to pay the remaining 1700 and change! Even after I explained that I was a woman with children evading domestic violence hence why I relocated abruptly. I even explained it was my deposit for our new home. And I could provide any information he needed as proof of our situation. He said he did not appreciate me involving him in my persoal affairs and to stay out my emotions, it was business! If you buy a car here good luck! Only buy brand new!! More

Shady Went in to purchase a vehicle, test drove the vehicle, liked it, offered them their asking price and wanted top Kelly Blue Book trade in value on our Went in to purchase a vehicle, test drove the vehicle, liked it, offered them their asking price and wanted top Kelly Blue Book trade in value on our vehicle. All was good so far. After a verbal agreement the sales person, Patric, said the price was $100 more because of an "anti-theft" inscribing add on. We refused because that should have already been included on the asking price . . . so far no problem other than now our guard is slightly elevated. Problem #2 and deal breaker! They asked for our car keys so they could look at it, then they took the car for a drive without asking for our permission . . . (unprofessional and now our guard is more elevated). After test driving our car, one of their staff raised the hood and was looking at ??, we were not next to them but could see them from our vantage from inside the office. Patric comes to us and shows us a picture of an oil dipstick and said it was ours and that the dipstick was covered in foam . . . and said that it is likely due to a blown head gasket that is allowing coolant and water into the engine's oil. Other than that the car was in great shape but they would have to knock $500 off of our trade in value. Upon looking at the picture closer, it did not even look like our dipstick, different color and also a different style. Ours looks like a thick metal cable with a RED plastic measuring portion on the final 2-3" at the base. Their picture had an orange piece on it, could not tell if it was the top handle or the bottom and their pictured dipstick was very wide. I went out to look at our oil dipstick and it was clean, the oil registering on the bottom was clear (as it only had about 1000 miles of use and we always use full synthetic oil) and completely free of any foam or frothing. The bottom of the oil cap had no foam or frothing. When confronted their response was they just took the picture. I explained the disparities and that it clearly was not from our vehicle. I asked them why there was no foam registering now and they said they had cleaned it off after taking the picture (hmmmm ?), I confronted them on the difference in color and style . . . off course they could not back down now. I explained that we always check our oil and maintain it and had NEVER had any indication of this issue . . . plus the car drove great. I said I would drive the car and check the oil to see if it would duplicate the foaming . . . they had no problem with us leaving and I feel it was because they got caught with their pants down after trying to scam a customer and knocking $500 off of their trade-in. After driving for 40 minutes in our vehicle . . . no foam at all! After driving our vehicle 3 times over the next 2 days, no foam! When I called to complain, Patric, still tried to stand by his fake picture and fake diagnosis . . . his comment was "why would we do this" . . . my response was to obviously know down the trade in price so as to put more money in your pocket. As they are located in Bellevue and selling luxury vehicles you would think reputation is important . . . unfortunately their reputation with us is shot, how could we ever buy anything from them after this attempted cheap, poorly thought out scam, how insulting it was. I hope others have not fallen victim to this. Just a side note, when calling to tell them that we would be 10 minutes late for our appointment, their office number forwarded to a cell phone number which offered no chance to leave a message. Moments later Patric returned our call and gave, without us asking for it, a reason as to why he was calling back from a different number and why it was forwarded. I thought nothing of it. But after sitting in the office, for about an hour, and never hearing the phone ring and seeing the other sales person sitting their with no leads and no business . . . AND after the very shady experience we had . . . now I wonder . . . dear owner and fellow sales personnel . . . are you also getting scammed? More
One of the better Dealer experiences. One of the better dealerships I've worked with over the last 20 years. No pressure, just above-board negotiation to reach an amicable deal that works One of the better dealerships I've worked with over the last 20 years. No pressure, just above-board negotiation to reach an amicable deal that works - very rare these days and although the process can drag on a bit (its the same everywhere, paperwork), Patric did his best to move it along. Cars are clean, as is the office. Staff all seemed friendly, there's a level of trust you feel from the staff and nobody from Sales is hanging on you like a wet blanket, asking "what it will take to put you into a car today" - that's not how Definitive Motors works - very refreshing experience, especially as a smaller dealer. Would go back, and will recommend. More
