I don't know if I can put into words the experience I had at Deery of Ames I guess I would say phenomenal. Our salesman Chad lichtenberg they sure got a xxxx of a guy in that one very knowledgeable answered at Deery of Ames I guess I would say phenomenal. A car I purchased off the lot last week started smoking really bad, then I realized it was a bad oil leak steaming off of the exhaust. After power steering also failed, I called to see if Deery would help really bad, then I realized it was a bad oil leak steaming off of the exhaust. After power steering also failed, I called to see if Deery would help correct it, and management said they wouldn't because it was AS IS. My sales rep Micheal seemed pretty honest, but it’s really hard for me to believe no one knew about the leak and did not tell me beforehand. My advice? Don’t buy from a dealership that doesn’t value your business enough to work with you on mistakes, yours or theirs. More
Micheal, salesman, was great. Ben, sales manager was great. But service told me one day to detail and put four new tires on. Two days later I had to initiate three phone calls with service, and only the great. But service told me one day to detail and put four new tires on. Two days later I had to initiate three phone calls with service, and only then I could pick the truck up at the end of business on the second day, with new tires. Yeah!!! But wait for it, that's right, the truck had not been detailed. Truck was filthy, fruit loops crusted to carpet, candy wrappers, sucker sticks and just plain dirt, etc. But I made plans using the truck for the holiday weekend, based on when I was told it would be done. So Tuesday I have to take the truck back again for the day to have it detailed. But over Memorial Day three day weekend I get to explain to family, friends, coworkers, and relatives, why my $15,000 truck looks and smells do poorly. But the service guys were at least nice. But no one offered to make it right. Very disappointing to my family, friends, relatives, and myself. Todd Smith More
