Where do I begin bought a car in Jan it’s now march and we have a problem with the temperature gauge,fan etc. Had the car towed to Derry because we bought platinum service agreement thinking that meant som we have a problem with the temperature gauge,fan etc. Had the car towed to Derry because we bought platinum service agreement thinking that meant something nothing could be further from the truth. The service department has had the car for over a week lied to us everyday last week about the car being a priority.. The tech we spoke with Lonnie was absolutely horrible zero concern for our situation. I will never buy another car from this place ever again just because they can’t be trusted when you lie to your customers it doesn’t reflect well on the company as a whole. I will take my business to Stew Hansen where I should’ve went in the first place derry came highly recommended but I beg to differ. More

I took a vehicle out on a test drive and towards the end the check engine light came on. I was told that they would get it in the next day to get it checked out. Two days later I was told the light was off the check engine light came on. I was told that they would get it in the next day to get it checked out. Two days later I was told the light was off when they pulled it in so there was nothing they could do and that it must have just been a false reading but to bring it back in if it came back on so they could diagnose it. I picked the car up on a Friday night and by Sunday afternoon the light was back on. When I took it back Monday morning they tried to tell me they never said to bring it back in and that the initial time they looked at it was all they were going to do. More

Don't bother buying from this dealership. Most dishonest place you will find. I've done business with 2 different Deery brother's dealerships in Cedar Falls Iowa and many vehicles as well as Most dishonest place you will find. I've done business with 2 different Deery brother's dealerships in Cedar Falls Iowa and many vehicles as well as occasionally multiple vehicles at a time and now will never purchase from any Deery after dishonest dealings with the pleasant hill Iowa chevy dealership. Had a truck purchased from them on 12/22/23 and were told they were down a finance person and the sales guy said he had the cover ready to install and the truck was pulled for us so his sales manager would be getting ahold of us in the morning to finalize things and get financing taken care of. Magically the next morning we received a call from a sales manager that stated he didn't know what happened but the truck my wife had picked out and was supposedly put back was sold to someone else. Now typically when you make that large of a screw up you try and fix it but not at Deery, they just bend you over. He stated they didn't have another truck like that, but he had another white one he could sell me for $7,900.00 more that was equipped the same and even if he got one the same color as the one, he wouldn't honor the price. Now I don't know about any of you but to me this was just blatant lying, dishonest, fraugelant, and or a bait and switch. I don't really care at this point, but every Deery dealership should be investigated and fined by consumer watch dog and government agencies that check on these issues which we will be trying to contact as well as the BBB. By the way, really good dealership in Ottumwa, Iowa called Vaughn motors that just went the extra mile and then some to place us in the truck we thought we had from Deery and at the price we had also.
