Purchased Two (2) Vehicles in 2015, Long Distance In 2015, I purchased two (2) vehicles, an S60 R and an XC60 Platinum from Volvo of Brentwood. Following a nationwide search, the S60 R was located. Fo In 2015, I purchased two (2) vehicles, an S60 R and an XC60 Platinum from Volvo of Brentwood. Following a nationwide search, the S60 R was located. Following several phone conversations, I made the trip to St. Louis, purchased the S60 R, and drove away. A few months later, the same process was followed for my XC 60 purchase. On both purchases, I worked with Alen Prohic and Edin Hadziefendic. Alen, my main contact, was open, upfront, honest, answered all questions, sent numerous photos, and worked hard to ensure my trip, and ultimate purchase, would be worthwhile. It was. When the XC60 purchase process began, I conducted a nationwide search, and returned to Volvo of Brentwood. Alen went through the same process, and worked very hard to earn my business again. On both purchases, Alen and Edin were accommodating to my travel schedule, and did everything possible to ensure my satisfaction. Whether you live in St. Louis, or anywhere in the country, Alen and Edin will earn your business, and do everything possible to ensure you high satisfaction. UPDATE: Matt Newbold, the service manager, called me today and did a good job to made things better. I will be giving them a chance to earn back my business. At best they suffer from poor communication, and more likely are just full of bs. Had my 2008 Volvo S80 T6 AWD towed there because car would not start and key would not come out of ignition. Service department called me after 2 days trying to diagnose saying corroded negative battery terminal and needed $300 software upgrade. First of all, negative terminal was not corroded, at least not much. I know this because I charged the new battery and put jumper cables on the car immediately prior to having it towed. Secondly, why would it take them 2 days to diagnose a battery terminal? Paid the $300 for the software upgrade and called Volvo customer service. When VCS contacted dealer, the facts suddenly changed. Now it was a corroded battery cable and the software they installed for free. Really? That's news to me. Overall, if the cable was bad, and they charged me to change it, then the $300 is probably OK. But like I said, at best they are guilty of very poor communication. Left a bad taste in my mouth and I would not return to this dealer for service or to buy a car. More
Bought a used Acura SUV from this dealership. They never do inspections outside of the required state inspections. They do not value their customers enough to sell a high quality used vehicle. They lie and say they are in good condition when in reality they should have been wholesaled. They charged an insane amount and then sell a product that is junk. The car I bought ended up needing $3,000 worth of work done within 3 weeks of driving it off the lot to include a timing belt, repairs on a massive A/C leak which I'm sure they noticed. Things the dealership should have taken care of as part of good customer service. The dealership's response was "due to the age of the car this is expected". They only reimbursed me $300. This was ridiculous. The dealership treated me like I was an idiot and it was my fault for not knowing what I was buying. This is horrible customer service. I ended up trading the SUV exactly 3 months later, took a huge loss and moved on. I will NEVER do business with a Weiss dealership ever again. I will be writing a letter to the owner of the dealerships and to the Better Business Bureau about their practices. I encourage people to research any used car they would think of buying from these dealerships as they will sell you a piece of junk just to make a dollar. And I will NEVER go back there even for service on any of my other vehicles and I am too afraid of getting ripped off. More

I have been very happy and pleased with all of my interactions with Weiss Volvo. I actually purchased by Volvo from another dealer in St. Louis but switched to Weiss Volvo for all of my routine main interactions with Weiss Volvo. I actually purchased by Volvo from another dealer in St. Louis but switched to Weiss Volvo for all of my routine maintenance and service. I have an S60 and love that all the scheduled maintenance for the first 5 years is free. The experience here had been over 100 times better than the service department at the (other) dealership I purchased the vehicle from. I'm glad I switched. I am always greeted with a smile and the Service guys take time to answer all of my questions. My car is in good hands and I don't have anything to worry about when I'm there. They always have a loaner if I need it and they have Saturday hours too. I would recommend this dealer to a family member or a friend. More
Keith in the service department worked to resolve an issue with my 2004 XC90 and was able to get Volvo to pay for 100% of an expensive repair without me even asking him too.
