My interaction with Dave Schultz, sales manager, began with an online inquiry. We only communicated via email or text which is how I like to buy cars, no showroom pressure. He was very prompt in returning communication and worked to find us the perfect car from another dealer. My first visit to the dealer was to pick up my new car! The delivery specialist took her time to sit in the car with me to explain all of the options and technology. I highly recommend the Dean Team family! More

Don't Waste your Time I leased from Dean Team Kirkwood in 2010; it was my first and last experience - NEVER AGAIN! I made the deal during a difficult time personally and I I leased from Dean Team Kirkwood in 2010; it was my first and last experience - NEVER AGAIN! I made the deal during a difficult time personally and I accept responsibility for signing the papers but they were misleading and deceptive then and most recently difficult at best. Four years after signing the lease my car is worth half of the payoff. In July, I visited them regarding this issue as well as damage they caused when my car was being serviced that hadn't been fixed - this was after a letter I sent to the general manager was completely IGNORED. They promised they wanted to make things right and would do everything they could to get me in a new car. They also agreed if they couldn't, they'd fix the damage so I could go elsewhere. Five months of repeated phone calls and follow ups with no progress resulted in my demanding they fix the damage immediately due to my lease expiring on 12/30. They finally picked up my car on 12/11 and gave me a loaner. Mine was supposed to be ready Christmas Eve but when my kids and I showed up, it wasn't even there. After waiting, they put us in a larger loaner to accommodate our needs for the holidays. We drove a few miles when smoke came pouring out from under the hood. My kids were terrified and we waited an hour for them to bring us a replacement vehicle. The person I dealt with on my car repair and loaner, Tom Ebner, was the only decent person at the dealership and was helpful and apologetic about the issue with the loaner. I was finally able to pick up my car late on 12/29 with the lease expiring the next day. I could continue to pay on the car past that date but I wanted to end any association with this dealership immediately and the car was getting too many years on it. I scrambled and spent much time on the phone, finally securing another deal on Saturday, 1/3. It cost me more money that I care to think about to get out of the mess but I was elated to NEVER have to deal with this place again. I accept responsibility for my part in this mess but not only has Dean Team NEVER accepted any responsibility or admitted fault, they left messages criticizing and blaming me, trying to make me feel bad - as if I hadn't done that to myself! This behavior - lack of ethics, decency and customer service - should NOT be rewarded with your business. The financial institution where I had my former lease told me they don't do business with them anymore because they started seeing a pattern in their loans/leases where they are screwing people over. The stress they caused and time/distraction from my kids, especially during this last month of the holidays, is inexcusable. I am happy to be done with them! There are plenty of other places willing to work for your business and treat you fairly and with respect. Dean Team Kirkwood is NOT one of them! More

First New Car! Tom was awesome to work with! He treated my like one of his own kids!! I had other experience with different dealers, and they tried to bully me into Tom was awesome to work with! Reese G. recommended a 2015 Passat which we test drove at interstate speeds. My husband had no difficulty hearing, it was so quiet. The car was a diesel with amazing gas mileage, but I wasn't sure of the color and we had some doubts about a diesel. When we expressed these doubts, Reese and Dave S. surprised us and didn't act like typical sales people trying to talk us into the diesel. Instead, they asked us if we would be interested in the gas engine version of the same model. We were, but the color we wanted wasn't in stock. Dave proceeded to search for the car we wanted and found there was only one in the state which they arranged to get for us. Reese, Dave and Jason all stayed for two hours after closing to help us. We were very impressed and felt they were very genuine. My husband was unable to be with me when I picked up the car and the numerous features were explained, so one day he met with Anthony S. who helped him. We would highly recommend all the employees we have dealt with. More
Never ever again! In March 2014 we bought a used 2003 VW Passat there for more than $7,100 with more than 100,000 Miles. We also bought an extra extended warranty that would cover major repairs during the first year. Only a few days after we bought the car, the engine light went off and the first repair was necessary ($700). Then a few dazs after that repair the engine light went off again and they suggested another repair for another $700. The extended warranty did not cover any of the repairs we had so far. The car came with only one key, damaged radio knobs, missing spoiler parts, a broke seat heating etc.. in other words - they sold us a crappy car and it is a shame, that a Volkswagen dealership sells used Volkwagens in such a bad shape. As a German I can tell you, that this would never happen with any german VW Dealership. So what's the benefit of buying a used VW at a VW dealership? At least with regard to the Deanteam Kirkwood - there is no benefit at all, quite the contrary. When we tried to give back the car to the dealership they offered us to buy an even more expensive car, but No - Thank you! More

I've owned 3 Jetta's previously and the purchase of this one was the best experience. Jamie knew EVERYTHING about the car and was able to explain the differences between the 2014 and the 2015 Jetta. I'm glad he took the time to show me all the differences because it really made me chose the right car for me. He was very patient and made the purchase a good experience. I will purchase my next car from Jamie. I have also had my Jetta's serviced at the Dean Team. The service department is exceptional. More
