I brought in my 2016 Hyundai Genesis that was under warranty and the issue was a ticking noise when the engine was cold. I explained it in detail on what they had to do. All they had to do was drive ab warranty and the issue was a ticking noise when the engine was cold. I explained it in detail on what they had to do. All they had to do was drive above 30 mph and then brake to 28 and they would hear it. I get a call we can not create the noise. I went up and looked up at the trip clock to see how far they drove it. It was driven .8 of a mile. They did not take the time to find my problem. If someone gives you the exact way to produce a problem and you can’t follow the instructions might be time for a career change. But even when I went to pick it up they tried to charge a diagnostic fee (I know there is one if they can not find a problem and I am happy to pay it if good work is done). I asked how far was it driven and they said it was driven enough. I told him I am not paying the diagnostic due to the poor job done on this car. The diagnostic they provided is that is was The fuel injectors. Nothing they can do to fix and they said you can take it anywhere else and they will say the same thing. I then called Hyundai consumer affairs and spoke with Dave. Dave was great and he listened to the issue I had with Dean Team. He said that is unacceptable. I went somewhere else as he said and Tim was able to diagnosis the problem. I needed a new drive shaft. Dean Team could not have been more wrong. After the repair was completed I picked it up and went to Dean Team. I told them about the situation and they couldn’t be bothered about it. After this I will go to Tim every time and so should you. I am expecting to get a response stating they did everything they could. The only thing they did is lose a customer. We bought a car from Dean Team and it was great. They was 15 years ago. Ownership must have changed from father to son.Tim will solve any problem. More
