I just purchased a car from the Dean Team in Ballwin and give them very high marks for professionalism and integrity throughout the entire process. I met with Tim to look at two cars, one of which was on another Dean Team lot. I was specific on what time I would arrive, yet the car was not present, meaning I had to wait for him to drive it back. It was just a few minutes, but it should have been a preview on the kind of disinterested service I received from Tim. After making an initial offer, I was instead steered toward a car that didn't fit my expressed needs (high miles and obvious body damage the salesman seemed oblivious to). When I pressed on the other vehicle I was told my offer was too far off and that it didn't appear we'd get any closer. He let me walk out of the store without even making a counter offer. In the days following I left messages on his voicemail, his sales manager's voice mail and sent emails copied to both Tim and the on-line sales manager. Two weeks later I still haven't been contacted. It's a good thing for the Dean Team that I really wanted that car and that they have a professional sales staff at a different lot. Karl Nuetzel responded to my inquiries immediately and negotiated a deal that wasn't so far off from my original offer. Basically, Tim lost a commission over $98. Among those who work under my charge is a sales force. Had I ever found out they let a "hot" lead off the hook without so much as a phone call, the consequences would have been swift and sure. Tim should spend some time with Karl Nuetzel to see how professional sales consultant motivates himself because he is sadly lacking that quality. This extends, as well, to the sales managers who allow this an similarly ignored my attempts to contact. Business must be pretty good at Dean Team Hyundai to be able to refuse a customer who clearly wanted to buy a car. More

Mike was the first salesperson to actually come out of the office and greet my husband when he first visited. All the other dealerships did not even acknowledge we were there. From the start we felt he was a very honest salesman and made sure we got the car we needed at a price we could afford. When we were waiting for the financing and paperwork he checked on us a few times to let us know what was going on. I would recommend Mike and the Dean Team to anyone looking for a reliable used car.
