This was the best experience I've ever had buying a car. I gave Paul my list of "must haves," and he found me a car not only meeting my needs but with a whole lot of extras that I didn't think were in car. They are friendly, listen to your needs and don't lay on the high pressure sales tactics I've experienced at other dealerships. I purchased tinted windows, and while they were working on my car they gave me a free loaner. When I picked up my vehicle it was cleaned and the tank was full of gas. After dealing with a Volvo dealer in the past that lacked any and all customer service, I never realized working with a dealer could be so easy and hassle free. I will be bringing my car here for all maintenance and we will be purchasing another car from these guys when the time comes for my husband to get a new car. More
I am very disappointed in my service visit that started on 2/12/14. I have now purchased 2 different Hyundai vehicles from this dealership, and with my most recent experience in the service department this on 2/12/14. I have now purchased 2 different Hyundai vehicles from this dealership, and with my most recent experience in the service department this week I don't think I will again. I went online and scheduled an appointment for my oil change and tire rotation for 1 pm on Wednesday 2/12/14. I had scheduled this appointment at least 4-5 days in advance. However with no advance notification, when I arrived to the service department I was told that there was a recall on my 2013 Santa Fe and that it would take another 4 hours of labor on top of my oil change and tire rotation to fix the recall. I had planned on waiting at the dealership, and I would have made alternate plans had I known that my visit would take this long. However, I was assured that the dealership would pay for me to have a rental car at their expense and that I would be called on Thursday morning when my car was finished. (At this point I had to actually prod the service department person as to what on my Santa Fe was actually even recalled...very unprofessional to tell someone there is a defect on their car and not tell them what was wrong). I then was picked up by the Enterprise rental person and driven down to their location. I was unceremoniously told that this car was what they had left; and was then was an unwilling participant in a money making upsell part of Enterprise encouraging/advising me to personally pay to upgrade to their rental insurance, I declined. I was not comfortable with the car I was given, and being 7 months pregnant I did not feel safe in this tin can of a Hyundai accent, but at this point what choice did I have??? I drove straight home and never drove the car again except back to the dealership.... eventually. Shame on both Dean Team Hyundai and Enterprise for putting me into this position. Now comes Thursday morning.....time goes by and no one has called me all morning, so around 11:30 am I have to call the service department, wait on hold for 10 minutes and was then told my car was still being worked on and would need another 2 hours. REALLY?!??!? Finally at 1:20 pm the service department called and told me that my car was done and I could come pick it up. When I arrived at the service department I was surprised to see my car on the lot still dirty and had clearly not been through the carwash. I went into to get my car and asked about a carwash (at this point my car had been at the dealership for over 24 hours) and was told that they were all backed up and couldn't get to it. REALLY??!?!?! It is amazing the difference in the sales department and the service department at this dealership. There is NO WAY that a salesperson would not get your car cleaned before you agreed to buy it, but the service department is apparently far too busy to actually take care of your Hyundai vehicle and wash off the frame damaging/rusting chemicals of winter. I am so very disappointed in my experience...I do know what to do at this point...do I continue to subject myself to subpar service? I guess I try and find another dealership that values both my time, loyalty, and actually cares for my car. I am going to post my experience here and also email it to the general manager of the dealership. I hope that no one else has my horrible experience and things change going forward. More
This was by far my best experience with a car dealer. The price was negotiated over email prior to me seeing the vehicle so no pressure at the dealership over price. Adam, Ben, and Scott couldn't have been any nicer. The whole process went smoothly and I felt no pressure to purchase any extras even though I did decide to purchase a few of them. I had a hard stop time due to a meeting that evening and Ben even offered to drop my vehicle off at my home so it was there waiting for me when I got home. I highly recommend anyone going to this dealership for the purchase of a new vehicle. The experience was very pleasurable considering the amount of money you end up dropping buying a brand new vehicle. I would go back to them in a heartbeat! -Todd More
Overall I had a pretty good experience the first time I bought a car at Dean Team Hyundai. My recent experience was less than stellar. While completing the purchase of my SUV I was repeatedly pressured t bought a car at Dean Team Hyundai. My recent experience was less than stellar. While completing the purchase of my SUV I was repeatedly pressured to purchase an extended warranty and car care service contract. Though I continually told Richard I was NOT interested I finally gave in just to get out of there and told him that it was more than likely I would be cancelling the contract. Within the 60 day period for cancellation I went to the dealership with a letter of cancellation and the car care service coupons and signed the appropriate cancellation forms. Though Richard wasn't there I did talk to Scott who said he would provide the paperwork to Richard who would then process the cancellation. That was Jan. 17th and after two full weeks the cancellation has yet to be processed. Richard has not responded to either of my emails inquiring about the cancellation. I contacted SPP today to confirm cancellation and they stated they have not received anything from the dealership. This should have been more than enough time to process the cancellation and minimally Richard should have responded to my inquiry emails (I have confirmation receipts that they were received and read). I work with companies all over the world and this is NOT acceptable customer service for my company or others I work with, why is it acceptable for Dean Team? More
The sales team was a little pushy, but overall very helpful. I got the car I wanted at a good price. Without any question Adam guided me to the car that I told him I wanted to get...He is a very caring well mannered and very knowledgeable Hyundai Salesman....I have become part of a Hyundai family since I married into this family 10 yrs ago.. my husbands family have always had Hyundai...and have dealt with only the dean team...so I bought my first one years ago and will not go anywhere else but dean team...the dean team has one precious guy and salesman in Adam Novik he is truly a angel walking this earth and the dean team has always been here for me when I needed a car...I strongly and highly recommend Adam to all that I know....I know he left the dean team for a while but I am very grateful he is back..so Never let him leave again....keep that angel you have right there he is truly a dean team member...and The Dean Team ROCKS.... <3 More
