Bad service after you sign the deal Had a good experience during the buying process, although there was too much back and forth (I would guess same as with any other dealership). My sixth week into ownership, the aftercare by the dealership was pretty bad. The incentive that was promised never got mailed out after 3 calls, 3 visits to the dealership, and 3 emails. The rep just said it will be in the mail every time I tried to contact. More
Friendly with Sales, Unpleasant with Financing I came to Dean Team Hyundai after seeing a car online with a specific Internet price. I was put in contact with Reed and when I arrived was happy to f I came to Dean Team Hyundai after seeing a car online with a specific Internet price. I was put in contact with Reed and when I arrived was happy to find the car already waiting for me. After not liking how that specific Sonata drove, Reed said he had another at the same price and year and let me test drive that one as well. He did not pressure me on time and even said I could go grab dinner and come back with it. I liked how he did not accompany me on the test drive like some other dealers and sales people do - it allowed me to collect my thoughts and not be pressured to make small talk without truly paying attention to the car and how it drove. Still after the second car, I was not happy with how the brakes felt and Reed said that he could bring in a car if I could come back two days later. When I returned I was very pleased with the Sonata he found and he was able to still give me the internet special price from the previous two cars I looked at. Since it was a special price to begin with, there was not a lot of negotiating to do, but they were able to make some cosmetic changes (removing of messed up window tint and after-market back up camera) and included the $200 application fee in the price. Reed was very friendly and respectful to work with. The only unpleasantness I encountered with this dealer was with Richard when it came time to buy the car. I already had a pre-approval with the bank that I work at and Richard would not stop trying to talk me into financing with them and extending my warranty. I understand that these things help the dealerships meet their quotas and such, but I was upfront that I wanted to stick to my pre-approval with the bank for financing purposes. After non-stop nagging about upgrading my warranty, I was about to grab my checkbook and walk out. When I finally shut down for good and make it very, very apparent I was not going to add on extra warranty, Richard shut down and barely talked. The rest of the transaction was very awkward. I'm sure that he's a nice guy, but I think he could have handled that part of the transaction differently. I haven't had to deal with the service department yet, but I can go to any Hyundai dealership because it is still under warranty. More

After meeting him in person we were even more impressed with his friendliness and knowledge of his profession. The van we bought had everything we were looking for, and it fit perfectly into our budget. Buying the car through them was a simple and enjoyable enough experience that we came back five months later and got another car through them! We decided to lease our second car and the leasing process with Brian was just as pleasant. They gave us a fantastic deal on both trade-ins, and helped to make an well informed decision that fit the needs of our family. Brian was especially patient as we researched other options and took the time we needed to think and discuss each step. More

Generally you hear a lot of negative reviews about how horrible buying cars can be and how much haggling you have to do to get a fair deal, but not at Dean Team. I found an 07 Jetta GLI thanks to Bryan and he was EXTREMELY helpful the entire time. He was easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about the car and answering any questions we had. He helped work with us on our requests and overall made the experience extremely positive. If I am still living in Missouri the next time I buy a car I will definitely give Dean Team Hyundai the priority choice. Thank you Brian and Dean Team for making my first car buying experience memorable. P.S. Give Brian a raise purely for how easy of a process he made this for me. More
