After all these years she knows what I want and never fails to deliver. If friends are shopping for a new car I always recommend Darlene and Dean Sellers. When I moved to Michigan in 2000 I purchased a Ford from another dealership and did not get the service that I receive from Dean Sellers. From Sales, to Finance and Service I have never been disappointed. I cannot say anything negative about my experiences with them. More

My wife and I are very unhappy with our experience at Dean Sellers Ford. After finding an explorer we liked at this dealership online that said “coming soon”, I messaged them asking if it was available. Dean Sellers Ford. After finding an explorer we liked at this dealership online that said “coming soon”, I messaged them asking if it was available. Used car salesman George responded to me saying yes it’s ready to go, it said coming soon due to them waiting on the title. The next day we drove 2.5 hours across the state to check the car out. We got there; test drove it and we liked it but had a few questions. One question was: “did it go through inspection/was anything found during the inspection, and did get serviced?”. George said, well actually it hasn’t been inspected and it’ll take around 2 hours to get done. All of this after saying it was ready to go the day before. We had let George know that the car was still dirty inside and we had noticed the left rear tire was low during our test drive. George said those things would be taken care of during inspection. My wife and I waited for the inspection to be completed. Once we were notified that it was complete we returned to the dealership. George had told us nothing was found; brakes good, tires good, oil changed, etc. We wanted to get paperwork going. George said we needed to get the title of the trade in car so he sent us to the Secretary of State to get the title. On our trip there we noticed that the low tire pressure light was still on and worse than before. Came back empty handed because of course the Secretary of State is always busy. Once we returned we showed George the tire pressure light was still on he apologized but our confidence at this point was gone. My wife told George that she never remembered having a title for the trade it, he then remembered he could look up if it is an electronic title…. AFTER sending us to the Secretary of State!!!! At the end of the day the car was not purchased on this day due to the car not being certified in their system, even though we had been told this car was “ready to sell”. We drove a total of 5 hours to see this car and were extremely disappointed by the lack of customer service. We contacted the dealer asking if they would be able to hold this car for us since we were not able to travel back until the following week and got a “no”. After contacting the general manager of new and used cars is when they finally notified us that they would in fact hold the car for us. All in all we came back the following week and purchased this car because it was the right color, price, and miles. The customer service though is absolutely terrible at this dealer and we will never come back. Every person we communicated with, except Mike Bell, could use a customer service class and maybe read “ The Customer Service Revolution” by John DiJulius to better themselves as salesmen. My wife and I are in the aviation business and could never imagine treating our customers the way we were treated here. We DO NOT recommend this dealership to anyone!! More
The overall purchase experience was exceptionally good. The negotiation felt that it was in good faith and not aggressive. Trade in valuation felt fair. Sales agent responded to questions quickly and clear The negotiation felt that it was in good faith and not aggressive. Trade in valuation felt fair. Sales agent responded to questions quickly and clearly. My only grievance is the lack of weekend hours which made it a bit more difficult to find a time to check out the vehicle and ultimately make the purchase. Provided you can make that concession, I’d recommend the dealer. More
