I have brought my car here, in person, to be service which I found unpleasant - you kind of wait in a hallway pass through room which is very busy, loud and crowded. Lucky for me - they have a pick up and drop off for the bargain price of $50.00 to not have to sit there. Not great, but to me - worth it to not have to be uncomfortable for a few hours. The first time I don’t know what happened but they jacked their schedule and my car never was picked up so I had to reschedule etc for a week or two later - not a huge deal, mistakes happen. The men came and got my car on the newly scheduled day with no issues. I waited to hear for someone. I heard nothing the first day so on the 2nd day I started calling and leaving messages for the service department. I left several messages requesting an update, I finally heard back later the 2nd day - they couldn’t find the issue so they were being my car back. I understand you can’t fix a problem you can’t find so no worries. I believe stuff happens sometimes and you should never base a business off one experience so… I chose to try it again. The latest: I need an oil change, filter and new tires. I try to schedule on line through the app but they don’t let me schedule pick up and drop off so I call Devoe, I explain to the scheduler that I need an oil change, 55,000 service and a price for tires. On the app It says I can do a tire rotation and full synthetic oil change for $108.00. My car is also reporting I need a cabin filter change and the app says they can do that for $129.99. It says they will price match tires and/or buy 3, get one for a dollar. All of which I communicated to the scheduler (maybe?) - she wanted me to talk to someone in parts to find out what kind of tires I have and how much they would be… I said no thank you, it needs an oil change anyway so they can just quote the tires then. The men came and picked up my car - no issues, right on time. A couple hours later I get a text message that I have 4 critical items - 2 tires, cabin filter and engine filter. (I will add the photos of what I screen shot to send to the advisor since it has all been erased now so I can no longer access the record they sent me.) They were going to charge me $255.67 for the air filter - when I asked why the advisor told me it must be carbon and not paper. But he didn’t know for sure. I asked about the misc. change for $24.65, I was told the EPA mandated the cabin filters be disposed of as hazardous waste - I couldn’t understand why a paper cabin filter would have to be disposed of as hazmat and I asked where I could look that up, the service writer back tracked and said he didn’t know if it was mandatory but it’s what they do. That was only one of the 4 ‘critical’ items my car needed. The tires - only quoted 2, told me I missed the sale that it ended last month. I said, it’s litterally on your website. He started speaking to someone one else who informed him the special ended this month not last so he told me he would need to requote the tires. There is more but I feel that I have made my point and there is no need to continue. Given all of this information - I told the service writer I was very frustrated with their company and just wanted the minimum done and my car back, he apologized that I felt that way and told me he would have the tires rotated and the oil change done only for the 109. If you chose to do business with this service center, I hope you have deep pockets and the patience of saint. More
I bought a 2022 Cadillac XT4 CPO still under warrantee a few weeks ago. I brought it in for service to replace a loose piece of door trim on the rear drivers side door. I was told on April 23 that it would take “a few days” to get a replacement part and arrange to have it replaced. It’s May 10 and I’m still waiting to hear back regarding when I can bring it in to have it repaired. I did call earlier this week and my Service Advisor told me it would still be “a couple more days”… BTW, my wife and I LOVE the car and the dealership; we just feel that this minor repair should have been completed in a shorter timeframe.
