VERY SLOW service department! Our second experience with DeVoe's service department has been worse than the first. We won't be back. We were expecting to wait about an hour and a half, but after waiting two and a half hours we asked for status. John Ruth, who checked us in asked,"You still here?"! Then he said they have only one diesel tech and MIGHT start on our vehicle in mid-afternoon. We live an hour from this dealership and had no way to leave the vehicle there and he said he didn't know we were waiting! Said we should've scheduled for earlier in the morning, though they offered only the 10:00 when we called a week earlier. Very frustrated! We took our vehicle and left to find service elsewhere More
Great sales experience but service.. not Bought a used low mileage Terrain and had a great buying experience. Soon after Onstar sent a message to say the car hadn't he'd 25k service - it was an approved vehicle with 32k miles on when i bought it.. Called the service dept and was assured it had been serviced but no evidence to back it up. Got a call to say it needed an oil changed and tyre rotation (pre-paid) - called back to book in - got VM and left a message - no call back. Called again got VM left a message - no call back. Called again - got VM went back to switch and was put thru to another # - got VM. Finally got to speak to a person and was told 1 week wait. Took the car in - very friendly, nice lounge and when told it was completed got a sheet to say the work had been done and a 'complementary' car wash. The car was dry, still covered in dust with fly squash on the screen and the paper mat and plastic sheet were on the seat. No matter and i was in a hurry so left and 2 miles down the road checked that the oil change had been reset - the tyre pressure screen came up first and on the coldest day of the year with cold tyres it read 2 tyres at 47 psi, one at 48 and one at 49. The recommended pressure is 35 and the safe maximum on the tyre is 44. On a hot day at freeway speeds there would have been rubber (and perhaps us) all over the road. Called the dealership - got VM so left a message. Got a call back to say I should check the tyres at standstill because if id been 'swerving from lane to lane' the tyres may have got hot - Really?? I've driven around 1.5m miles in 5 continents and never known a 14psi increase even in the sahara. There was no apology, no explanation just 'bring it back and we'll reset them - i got the impression this was nothing out of the ordinary. Let me tell you guys, i do not need Devoe to put air in or take air out of my tyres. i do need you to take care of my car properly More

I have drove over 1500 miles to and from the service dept at devoe. I have spent over 36 hours driving there and back 2 times to install remote start 10 times for water related issues, now my car smells at devoe. I have spent over 36 hours driving there and back 2 times to install remote start 10 times for water related issues, now my car smells like MOLD! 5 times for airbag related issues There response to some type of compensation is "there is NOTHING WE CAN DO" I was born and raised here in Naples, FL and it makes me SICK that this dealership can get away with this ***This was on A Brand New Car with 0 miles on it*** More
I had purchased a car new from Devoe. Car ran absolutely perfect. After accident car never ran correctly. Brought in to have it looked at and on one of the occassions a service personnel took my car off the perfect. After accident car never ran correctly. Brought in to have it looked at and on one of the occassions a service personnel took my car off the lot and crashed the car. Upon telling the Charles Goldsmith about the accident he denied it happened. I went and got a police report and yes it was in an accident. To make matters worse the person that they had the accident with is suing me for a half a million dollars. Plus Devoe had billed my insurance for everything. Not only did they lie they had me thrown off the property when I questioned them on service they promised. Plus also when I had to work late and the car needed to be brought to me they had a staff woman drive the car to my place of business. She was smoking in my car and could not put the top up. She proceeded to slam the top of the convertable and broke the top. Plus I also was lied to regarding the driveshaft when they stated that they were replacing it when they only greased it and sent me home. One month later I was stuck on the highway because the drive shaft went out completely and they had to replace it. This has been a horrible experience for a customer that has been with Devoe for 25 YEARS! Also provided services to them as a gold platter for car emblems in the late 80's. To top it off my car is still at the dealers and since the car is mine and still is not fixed correctly I most likely will have to take this to other steps. This has been a horrible experience and I would never recommend anyone to ever purchase a car here. More
DeVoe's service dept is disapointing. I have had bad experiance every time I bring my vehicle in for repair. They don't fix the problems correctly/first time. They treat women like they dont know what t experiance every time I bring my vehicle in for repair. They don't fix the problems correctly/first time. They treat women like they dont know what they are talking about & ignore what they have to say. Also they scratched my vehicle 2x and never fixed the scatches even after the fact (I took pictures of the proof)the rim on the vehicle is now damaged. My husband gets more respect & is able to get the vehicle fixed with no problems. We ordered a decal kit, but once we picked it up, it was the wrong decal - they gave me the run around & treated me with disrespect when I went to pick it up (my husband wasnt present). The decal was supposed to be white & the ID code was circled on the paper work. We received a black decal with a totally different code & they told us that was the one we ordered. I havent been pleased yet with the services dept & will probably not return! *I really enjoy the retail dept at DeVoe & enjoy how they treat us. They also give us pretty good deals (we bought 2 vehicles from DeVoe - myself a total of 3 & love them)... but like I stated, the service dept is not all that great. More
