I understand that new car dealerships use their service department as a profit center, and the efforts to add to the cost of my oil change were soft, so I’m not complaining for trying. Changing air and cabin filters at 15K not really necessary but if you are going to take them out to show me they are dirty, something I didn't ask you to do, why not change them for the cost of the parts? The time it took me to change both filters myself was about three minutes total but I was quoted $150 to do both, parts and labor. Your factory parts price was less than $50, I bought identical non factory filters for $25. $100 for three minutes labor is a bit high, and you did half the job already. Service advisors here are great; I can’t say enough good things about them. Video is a nice touch, and it shows that the tech is in the business to upsell; maybe he has to be to make up for the cost of producing the video. I am taking extra precautions about service with this car because I own it and because it has direct injection, so I’m changing oil and filter every 5K, but when the tech mentioned option of internal decarbonization on the video, that seems abusive to customers who don’t know better. 15K is way too early for that. I appreciated the first two oil changes were on you; this was the first I was paying for. Total price I paid was totally fair due to senior discounts offered by the advisor. It’s a 70 mile round trip for me so I’m not sure I will always return for routine service, but I was treated well and might return anyway. Overall, good experience, but it’s hard to take your service suggestions seriously when you halfheartedly make one’s well before they are necessary. More

I had an 8am appointment and was told the service only takes an hour. At 4:00 my car still wasn't done. Carseats were removed from my car without checking with me first.
