I have had intermittent electrical issues with my car since the day I purchased it. Intermittent are hard to find and now I am going to be stuck with this lemon of a car. They kept my car a week last August and changed a clock spring. In July of 2023 I the car was telling me the ignition was on but no matter what I did I could not get it to go off. By the morning the car had to be towed to the dealer and had to have a new battery. This is not a comforting feeling to purchase a new car and have all these issues. I would think that the service people with have compassion rather than being dismissive. He knows I have had many issues and am not happy with this car. In December at about 27000 miles when I went in for an oil change I was told I needed new tires, front brakes and rotors and an air filter, cabin filter and brake fluid flush. The estimate was over 2 thousand dollars. They actually comp the tires because this was the third set in less than 2 years. They said they did a wheel alignment. I had the air filter and cabin filter and front brake pads changed by my husband who is certified to do a brake job. . I actually took the car to another dealer and they said it should not be wearing like it is. They will watch the tire wear when I return in a few months. This is the only car in 45 yrs that I have had to replace tires this often. When I went in to the dealer in May to get the car inspected and have an oil change. They changed the oil and told me I need an air filter which was changed about 4 months ago. They told me I need brake fluid flushed which based on the Mazda recommendation shouldn’t be for another 20 or 30000 miles. They failed the inspection due to Mazda rotors delaminating at 32000 miles. I had my front brakes changed in January and the rotors were good. Then in May they failed the inspection because they said my rotors delaminated and I also needed back brakes and rotors. My mechanic said I didn’t need back brakes yet but I changed them anyway because I already purchased them. I again did not need rotors but your service department wanted me to pay 1398.00 for new brakes and rotors. I do not feel a customer should be given an estimate for over a thousand dollars at every oil change. I feel rotors should be warranted because they delaminated , that’s a fault of the metal . They did not wear out. I can go on and on. I requested assistance from Mazda corporate and i am awaiting a response. I also purchased a maintenance package when I bought the car. The women I believe her Anne is Stephanie told be the package covers all oil changes for 2 yrs after the first oil change and they told me that the maintenance package had another year but no more oil changes or tire rotations because I had my 4 oil changes.
