Didn't expect this from a domestic dealer Had made an appt. with the svc dept, a pleasant woman name Shannon, she set me up with Marc on the Gold Team, I felt like royalty right away from the Had made an appt. with the svc dept, a pleasant woman name Shannon, she set me up with Marc on the Gold Team, I felt like royalty right away from the moment i booked a service for a safety recall. Not purchasing my vehicle at Depaula Chevrolet I was nervous about coming in and what type of svc to expect. I pulled up to the garage,the door came open right away. I was greeted by a young man whom later I learned CJ, he directed me to pull my car into the repair shop, he smiled all the while, as I reached for the door handle to open the car, CJ, had ahold of it already and said "good morning", what a relief in this day and age. So my hands full of papers to grade that morning,he offered to help me. I as directed to Marc the service person I was set up with for the recall I needed done. Marc greeted me promptly as I entered the office. He had the service order already pre-written, he reiterated the recall needed and asked if i needed anything else, I responded and said no thank you. He said great, may I have a service technician perform a free courtesy inspection of the vehicle, I said by all means please. I know 4 th grade children and nothing about cars. I was told service would take 45 minutes. Marc walked me to the lounge area, offered me a coffee, i had a coffee, graded some papers, and in 35 minutes, Marc came in and said my car was completed, he walked to me the svc area, there was my filthy white Traverse, freshly washed, and guess what, CJ hand drying it. It's not even 8am, and these great people shine with bright enthusiasm, and it was a Monday. So Marc gave me my invoice and a copy of the check he had done for me with no issues to report. On the dashboard of car, a thank you for allowing us to serve me, signed by Marc. I exited the dealer with complete confidence and utter amazement. Highly recommend this Dealer.Just go in for a tour and watch how it works, other dealers and some within minutes that i've been less pleased with ,should spend an hour or two and see how the customer experience at Depaula is . More
pleasent experience working with Andrew Kuhn I had my car in the shop to have some work done. I was greeted by Andrew. He was very welcoming and made my time at DePaula very pleasant. I was worried about how much it was going to cost. He reassured me that I would not be told things I did not need to have done, nor would I be over charged. I decided to only use the dealership for service and it h My praise begins and ends with my experience with the salesman, Tim, who is no longer there. I decided to only use the dealership for service and it has been a huge mistake. I kept telling them I wasn't getting anywhere near the gas mileage predicted. They did all kinds of things over two years, charging me each time. Finally, I started getting the predicted mileage. I have sat in the lounge for hours with no one coming to tell me what's up with my vehicle. I always have to go to the office to ask. They charge an arm and a leg for most everything. The tires I bought kept losing pressure so I went to Warren Tire to put nitrogen in them. Twice, my check engine light came on just a mile from DePaula after just having my vehicle serviced. Today, they made it sound as though re-alignment was part of the 60,000 mile upkeep, then charged me $70 for an alignment after I just had one there in March, and didn't ask me if I wanted it done. They also charged me for an oil change when I still had 50% oil life (and the last oil change, they forgot to re-set the oil life meter, so I had to go back). On top of that, the bill was almost 10% higher than the estimate, but the team leader didn't say a word. I left a message for the general manager at 11:40 a.m. and sent an e-mail to the service manager at 2 p.m., both with detailed complaints. The general manager finally called me at 3 p.m. on my home phone, not the cell I asked him to call. Because I am such a good customer, he is giving me $150 off future service, detailing my car, and topping off my tank when I bring it for detailing. I will use the $150 an seek service elsewhere after that. I am tired of being treated like dirt, paying too much, and complaining every visit. BTW I also praise places that do a good job and always thank cashiers who are efficient and friendly. Normally, I have no problems getting good service. More
Volvo Service Dropped my car off for service last week (had a weird sputtering issue when braking) and didn't wait at all for someone to help. I was actually shocked how quickly I was tended to. I don't know that much about cars and the guy there was super nice and helpful and talked me thru what he thought was wrong, how they would fix the problem, and how long it would take. The car was fixed a day earlier than expected and all seems to be good since picking it up. Would definitely recommend this place. More
Recently took my 2005 Hummer for gas smell was told tank is rotted leakin fuel lines rusted. Well tanks plastic, they quoted me almost 3000. to fix. I had a recurring major problem with my 2011 Equinox and DePaula and General Motors were unable to solve it, not for lack of trying. The service people at DePaula never once gave me the impression that I w DePaula and General Motors were unable to solve it, not for lack of trying. The service people at DePaula never once gave me the impression that I was being a pain. I asked that consideration be given to replacing the vehicle since it could not be depended upon. It took about 3 months, but DePaula advocated for me to GM and I picked up my new 2012 Equinox last week. I have been a loyal GM owner for 40 years and have all of my family members driving GM cars as well. I have been a staunch advocate of DePaula since I bought the first Equinox in May of 2011 and have sent several friends there. More
