Scheduling is not consistent with staffing. My car was there for 4 days! For an inspection and a couple of warranty checks that probably took 1 hour. No loaner cars provided. Made an appointment 10 days in advance for what seemed like an urgent matter, check engine light was on. Took them 2 days to diagnose it just needed a computer update (car is just over 3 years old 22K mil like an urgent matter, check engine light was on. Took them 2 days to diagnose it just needed a computer update (car is just over 3 years old 22K miles). Still charged me a diagnostic fee even though nothing was really diagnosed plus the hourly rate for the tech which is crazy, they probably plug it in and walk away. Poor communication throughout the 2 days. Now that I'm off warranty will have to strongly consider going somewhere else, give Denooyer a try. More
As always the service at DePaula is excellent. The people are always friendly and the waiting area is clean with access to drinks and TV. The chairs are spaced etc. They only problem this time was the wait time. We were told it would take about 4 hours but it did take longer. Since we come from over two hours away it makes for a very long day. Understandably, things happen. We can’t say enough about Andrew from the red team who was so nice and kept us informed. We truly appreciate all of his help. Our kids say we’re crazy for going all the way to Albany to buy a car and get it serviced but we say it’s worth it. Thanks to Dario who was our excellent sales guys too! More
