DeNooyer Owner Follow Up After Bad Experience When I went in for service for a check engine light, I was not treated very respectfully by the service desk staff nor were any apologies made.. until When I went in for service for a check engine light, I was not treated very respectfully by the service desk staff nor were any apologies made.. until the dealership owner, Todd DeNooyer, read my previously posted yelp review (a very long story of complaints). He messaged me and pulled my file at the dealership to call me personally. Twice. He made sure that he heard my side of the story and then explained that DeNooyer Chevrolet's business model is much more caring and moral than what was demonstrated that day/time I came in. He asked my opinion for ways in which they could improve, since they use reviews to better their service and their company. I'm very impressed with his follow up. His company rides on reputation, like many others, and when someone is under the impression that they were wronged, he personally apologizes and makes amends. Thank you Todd More
I was in Kalamazoo for a soccer tournament from Crystal Lake, IL. I had taken my Chevy Suburban in to my local dealer on the Monday before my trip, because of a metal grinding noise. My local dealer replaced the brakes and said it was fixed. It wasn't. The noise returned and I was driving by and saw the DeNooyer dealership. I stopped in and the service department was extremely helpful. They went out of their way to send a courtesy shuttle back to my hotel so I could drop off my daughter’s cleats and they brought me back to the dealership and in less than an hour total the wheel bearing and hub were replaced. I was able to make the soccer game Saturday afternoon and return home safely on Sunday without giving the vehicle another thought. Thank you to all involved and especially Garrie. Leslie Miller More
I was recently having car troubles, and contacted the Denooyer Service Department for repairs. Christina went above and beyond for me! She responded to my email immediately, and within minutes had arrang Denooyer Service Department for repairs. Christina went above and beyond for me! She responded to my email immediately, and within minutes had arranged for my car to be towed to the dealership, and had even made transportation arrangements for me. Christina and Brian were both very friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful. I usually feel very pressured when dealing with car repairs, but I did not feel that in any way. Brian did an excellent job on my car, and the repairs were completed very quickly and at a very reasonable price. They made me feel like I was their top priority, even though I'm sure they had many other customers. I will be returning for all of my future service needs, and have already recommended that all of my friends go see Christina at Denooyer's! More
