My overall experience was excellent and I walked out feeling great about my big purchase from Kizito. I was initially at the dealership to get my oil changed in my 2010 Mazda CX7 and while there, I asked to have my vehicle appraised. During pick-up of my vehicle, Kizito greeted us and we discussed the appraisal. I was pleased with it and I told him lets get me in a new car!! I told him what I wanted and he handed over the keys. No fuss, no pressure, no sales pitch. After several days of test driving, I wound up purchasing the 2015 Mazda6 GT from your dealership mainly because of Kitzo's relaxed attitude, professionalism, and wealth of knowledge with all the questions I had. Mazda of Clear Lake followed my time frame and truly listened to my needs. The actual transaction was so smooth! You didn't have the exact vehicle I wanted on the lot and Kizito took care of it!! In less than 24 hours, he called saying the vehicle was in and to come take a look!! Not only was Kizito great, but the entire Financing part was easy and quick. Thank you again for the EXCELLENT customer service I received!!! I could not be happier with my purchase. I do highly recommend Mazda of Clear Lake to all my friends and family. I am not that dumb, thank you Bought the car here as a certified preowned vehicle with about 40000 miles. First problem was the door latch cable broke a couple months ago (when do Bought the car here as a certified preowned vehicle with about 40000 miles. First problem was the door latch cable broke a couple months ago (when does that EVER happen, and isn't that something that should be covered?). Anyway, not covered under the limited 12 mo warranty (sales called it "bumper-to-bumper" when I bought it, Ha! Caveat emptor). Now at 51000 miles, I get a laundry list of stuff that needs repair (belts, transmission seal leaking, etc... totalling over $1000). So I took it to my personal mechanic, who I TRUST. Bottom line is there is not a thing wrong with my car, so it looks like they are just trying to get $$ any way they can. At this point the free oil changes aren't even worth going back. Not sure I trust them messing with my vehicle anymore. More

Wonderful Experience!! I took my car in to get it serviced and was very pleased with the experience. It was nice to see a repair shop take the extra time to make sure that I took my car in to get it serviced and was very pleased with the experience. It was nice to see a repair shop take the extra time to make sure that I was completely understanding of the repairs needed on my vehicle. They took me out into the shop and showed me everything that I needed to see and explained to me the things that were pressing and the things that I could stand to wait a bit for. As a woman, it was a breath of fresh air to not feel like I was being taken advantage of. More

They took their time and made sure that not only I was understanding the service needed but that I felt comfortable with the entire experience. The free oil changes have been great - very efficient, in and out quickly! The two other service experiences we needed help with - I would rate poorly. This last experience, was excellent - and I give Clay all of the credit. He took what could have been a VERY BAD experience and turned it around to be a great one. He really went above and beyond to do the right thing - he called back when he said he would, he handled the situation like he said he would and that says a lot. Next time I go in.... whether it's for service on my car.... or my free oil change - I will ask for Clay. More
Clay was great! He handled my car so well and he worked really hard and when I gave him the tires, he put them in 45 minutes. I recommend Clay as a great service provider! I took my car in because there were problems with the tires. Ryan Carter told me that I hadn't rotated and balanced my tires enough and he was wrong, just didn't check his records before speaking. I took my car in again because my Sirius radio was acting up and he told me I didn't have a Sirius Radio at all? It all seemed fishy. I was belittled on the phone and he told me that maybe I thought it was there and it really wasn't. I love my Sirius radio and pay what I think is alot a year for the service and for him to say that I didn't have Sirius radio and belittle me was a bit ridiculous. It wasn't a pleasant experience and I will be going to a different dealership next time. More
After having my engine die (covered under warranty), my vehicle was taken to Mazda of Clear Lake on May 22nd. After being told my vehicle would be ready on the 10th or 11th, they kept pushing the date back vehicle was taken to Mazda of Clear Lake on May 22nd. After being told my vehicle would be ready on the 10th or 11th, they kept pushing the date back. The 13th or 14th. On the 17th. Finally, on the 19th, they told me they 'by chance' found a problem with a cooling fan. Not having a satisfactory answer as to why this was important, or if it was covered under my warranty, I decided to call Mazda to express my concerns about the length of time it was taking, as well as the strangeness of the man handeling my case. They said it wasn't covered, but it's strange this is taking so long and they would call Mazda of Clear Lake for me. I also decided to have my boyfriend call to get more information about the car (I don't claim to understand cars at all). He called, left a message, and received a call back from the man handeling my car- who BERATED him for my 'badmouthing' him to Mazda. Now, if he had a PROBLEM with what I said, he should have spoken to ME rather than my boyfriend. However, my nightmare doesn't end there. I spoke to the service manager and he 'counseled' the young man in question, and took some money off the service charge. Fine. Then he calls me a few days later and said they broke my radiator. Don't worry, I was told, we broke it, so it will be of no cost to you. Imagine my surprise this morning when I FINALLY went to pick up my car (The 26th of JUNE), to find that I was charged for the fan AND the radiator. Not labor, but the parts. I didn't say anything to the service manager, just wanting to LEAVE this place!! Waiting on a call back from the GM........ More
