David Turner is a great sales person. He is thorough and truly does continue to follow his customers. I have a bought a new Mazda from David twice, most simply because I knew how to get In touch with him :) truly does continue to follow his customers. I have a bought a new Mazda from David twice, most simply because I knew how to get In touch with him :). I have had a good experience with Mazda for two purchases. The finance is a bit frustrating which is why I labeled my overall visit a "good". I felt overwhelmed with the additional coverages and warranties that they propose for you to add. It does add your sales price up, but the investments are with a solid purpose. Thanks Mazda of Clear Lake! More
I had several friends that recommended this particular dealership and I can see why. After I spent two days test driving what seemed like every make and model available the Mazda was a perfect fit from t dealership and I can see why. After I spent two days test driving what seemed like every make and model available the Mazda was a perfect fit from the moment I climbed in and shut the door. My choice was the Mazda CX9; I got a vehicle that is functional, comfortable, and has a perfect balance of sport and luxury. I would encourage anyone interested in a new car to check out what Mazda has to offer. Dexter was one of the most customer service oriented people I have had the pleasure of meeting in a car dealership and he knows the vehicles inside and out. Never once did I feel pressured and I appreciated the time and care that was given when making such a big decision. David in finance was diligent, friendly and personable; not to mention had me wrapped up in a very timely manner. I can say without a doubt they gave me the best experience in terms of purchasing a car from a dealership!! More
Christopher Danzell greeted us immediately and enthusiastically the moment we walked in the door at Mazda of Clearlake. Although we had done extensive research on the vehicle that we wanted onlin enthusiastically the moment we walked in the door at Mazda of Clearlake. Although we had done extensive research on the vehicle that we wanted online before our visit, Christopher was a fountain of knowledge and information which made our decision much easier when it came time to purchase our new Mazda3. We were able to acquire the car we wanted, in the color we wanted, with the options we wanted, at a price that we are very happy with, all in a reasonable amount of time. We will be purchasing our next vehicle at Mazda of Clearlake and if Christopher is not the General Manager by then, we will certainly ask that he assist with our new purchase. ZOOM ZOOM! More
My car buying experience at Mazda Clear Lake was the worst I have ever experienced. I spent over four hours there in the span of a two day period. I waited over an hour and a half for the finance manage worst I have ever experienced. I spent over four hours there in the span of a two day period. I waited over an hour and a half for the finance manager. Once I was in the office, he began throwing out all of these "extra" warranty options, which I declined. He continued to pressure me about the warranty, and then brought in the manager to try to convince me that I need the warranty when I already declined again and again. They miraculously lowered the finance rate (when they first told me they had no control over the rate); however, they would only give me that rate IF I purchased the $2,000 warranty. Finally, I left, and then later returned to sign papers that should have been handled the day of the purchase. (David neglected to complete the necessary paperwork, so I had to make another trip to the dealership). Since I was there, I requested a brief overview of the car's features. At this point, Richard asked if I had read the manual , and then suggested that we go in the office to go over the manual. Clearly, I can read. That is not what I requested. I wanted a physical description of the features in the car.So, I refused to go in the office to have him "go over" the manual with me. I am quite capable of doing that on my own.He was incredibly rude, dispesctful, and completely lacked professionalism. We asked to see the manager at that point, who offered a free tank of gas. Honestly, I would rather pay my own money out of pocket for my gas than have to return to Mazda Clear Lake. It's not worth the hassle. Lastly, my friend had referred me, so she was entitled to a one hundred dollar reward. I nearly had to beg for her to receive this. She finally did, but it took my consistent calling and asking (5 plus times). I will never return to this dealership for future purchases, nor will I refer ANYONE to this dealership. They are shady with the financing, which has been noted in other reviews as well. And, they lack professionalism. Point blank. I love my car, but the experience left much to be desired. DO NOT go, unless you want to spend much unnecessary time waiting for them to get their stuff together in order to blindside you with extra fees and charges. BEWARE. Consider yourself warned! More
Ridiculous Customer Service in New Car Sales. My worst car buying experience to date. Chris Danzell is a great salesman but his manager and the dealership manager are worthless. Richard was very knowledgeable and friendly, and he didn't try to push me into a vehicle that I wasn't looking for. He helped me find the right car for me, at a price I could afford.
