I had a great experience at Mazda of Clear Lake. We went in looking to get a second car while staying within a price range that was financially comfortable for us. Chris Danzell from Internet Sales provided outstanding service. I came into the dealership to look at a used 2012 Mazda3 with 10k miles. The price was fair, and the car looked and performed like new. Never did I feel pressured to purchase, and Chris answered all my questions in a friendly way. I signed paperwork the day I test drove, and then made arrangements for external financing. My credit union ended up taking longer than expected, but Chris held the car for me for over a week. When the check finally arrived, he drove 45 minutes to pick me up, and 45 min back to the dealership. He even went over the owner's manual with me and personally saw that my new car left the dealership in immaculate condition, with a full tank of gas. I am very happy with my vehicle, and very happy with my experience purchasing from Mazda of Clearlake. More

He is a great salesmen and I have no problem referring him to friends and family. In regards to the finance department, it was a breeze. It was quick, efficient, painless. I called the sales manager and did not get a response. I have since left a message with the general manager to try to get the issue resolved. I want all options removed but if this cannot be done I can go through the individual companies to cancel options. However I was told I cannot cancel the Lojack option. I want it cancelled. By my calculations, with the base price I was quoted, the Lojack costs upwards of $1400 which is too expensive and I do not need it. I bought a car from Clear Lake 7 years ago and my financing options were explained very clearly and succinctly and I chose the best option for my situation. I did not feel this time the options were explained as options. I like the dealership, prices and service from Clear Lake and would like to continue to buy vehicles here but I need the above issue resolved in a satisfactory manner before I decide to buy future vehicles. More
