I had two problems with this dealership; 1) Sales I had two problems with this dealership; 1) Sales consultant (David Alvarez) and I agreed on a price for the vehicle ($25,200). I committed to buy I had two problems with this dealership; 1) Sales consultant (David Alvarez) and I agreed on a price for the vehicle ($25,200). I committed to buy it via Mazda financing. When signing the paperwork the initial document I saw was with the correct purchase price of $25,200. I quickly scan through the financing document and I didn't bother to use calculator to add amounts since sales (David) and financial consultant (Andre Trevino) seemed trustworthy. Assumed that the price is the same on all the other documents. After I got back home and realized that they added $300 on top of agreed price plus $147 optional documentation fee. I called them multiple times and left messages. They didn't bother to call me back. Seems like this hoax is a common practice after reading other similar reviews for this dealership. They first give you an impression that they are trustworthy then fool you by taking advantage of your trust. Be aware and be VERY VERY careful reviewing and singing ANY document with them. This can't be just an honest mistake. 2) The vehicle I purchase was a brand new vehicle and was on the sales floor as a demo vehicle. I test drove a similar vehicle in their inventory so that they get the floor vehicle out. I didn't test drive the vehicle I'm purchasing assuming that it was checked and in prefect working condition. I drove out the vehicle and realized that the A/C wasn't working. I returned the vehicle the same day and vehicle needed to stay in service dept for 2 days. I already submitted a review to mazdausa.com and getting ready to submit a dealer complaint to Texas Department of Motor Vehicles. More

My wife and I needed a new vehicle and it had to be in a specific price range. Chris Danzell not only met that price, he also made sure we got exactly the car we wanted. I recently moved from the UK to the US. When arriving in the US I had only a limited time to get myself set. Obviously, living and working in Houston I would require a car. I searched online and submitted a request to Mazda. I was contacted by David Turner, he was polite and professional. I went into the Mazda dealership and David greeted me and took me to look at a new speed3. Around 10 minutes later, I was test driving it. The car its self was just what I was looking for. Back at the dealership David asked what I was looking to put down and what monthly payments I could afford. He assured me we could meet my requirements. Mazda’s finance team spoke to several banks for me, it was difficult for me to get credit as I had only just arrived in the US and had only been issued a SSN a week prior therefore I had a credit rating of zero. David and I agreed that I would take the car over the weekend as an extended test drive until Mazda could find me the best deal. This was perfect as it allowed me to get around until the deal was finalised. I went back into the dealership a few days later and signed my paperwork. The deal I was given was exactly what I was looking for and well within my budget. Mazda were able to organise all this using my UK driving licence and without myself having a Texas driving licence. David explained to me that once I obtained a Texas DL I could then go to a different credit union and refinance reducing my payments further. As I am unfamiliar with the process David sat down and explained it all to me in detail. If I were to buy another new or used car in the future I will be most certainly contacting Mazda of Clear Lake. Excellent team, providing an excellent service. Thanks again, Will More
