Out of Town Buyer I live in Dallas and came to Mazda of Clear Lake for my CX-5 because they had the vehicle I wanted at the best price I could find in Texas. I purchased a low mileage Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. I usually don't buy CPO vehicles because I don't typically find that the price premium charged for those vehicles is worth the benefits of a longer warranty and more warranty, but in this case I found a great price and was able to get all of the CPO benefits too! Tyrone and Ahmad were both very accommodating, friendly salespeople. Ahmad made the price negotiation process a simple, no hassle event and that was very much appreciated. Since I live out of town and didn't test drive or come to the dealership before the morning I came to buy the vehicle, I had several pre-delivery requests regarding the vehicle. I am a car enthusiast and a lover of Mazda vehicles. When I arrived at the dealership to pick up the car, all of my pre-delivery requests were handled exactly as I had requested. Kudos to Mazda of Clear Lake on that. Minor hiccups on delivery included low tire pressures on all 4 tires. Tire pressures are something I always check before I get on the road for a distance drive. Was surprised to find one tire was 5 pounds low, others 2-4 pounds low. Recommend that Mazda of Clear Lake implement a process to check tire pressures before a customer picks up a vehicle. Additionally, finance paperwork had to be re-done because of some confusion and assumptions made regarding the amount of the purchase to be financed. Everything was fixed quickly and I was on my way. Would highly recommend Mazda of Clear Lake for their very customer oriented way of doing business and their great prices. I am not that dumb, thank you Bought the car here as a certified preowned vehicle with about 40000 miles. First problem was the door latch cable broke a couple months ago (when does that EVER happen, and isn't that something that should be covered?). Anyway, not covered under the limited 12 mo warranty (sales called it "bumper-to-bumper" when I bought it, Ha! Caveat emptor). Now at 51000 miles, I get a laundry list of stuff that needs repair (belts, transmission seal leaking, etc... totalling over $1000). So I took it to my personal mechanic, who I TRUST. Bottom line is there is not a thing wrong with my car, so it looks like they are just trying to get $$ any way they can. At this point the free oil changes aren't even worth going back. Not sure I trust them messing with my vehicle anymore. More

Awesome experience! We live about three hours away from the dealership so our browsing was done online until we found a vehicle we liked. We initially contacted Chris about another vehicle which was unfortunately sold the night before we arrived. Once we arrived, Chris had already found us another vehicle and had the keys ready to go. This vehicle didn't have the Skyactiv engine and he promptly pulled up another vehicle for us to test drive. We instantly fell in love and the entire process for purchasing was painless. He walked us through all the features of the vehicle, made sure we understood the warranty and that everything was the way we wanted it and we got a great price! If you're looking for a car, I definitely recommend this dealership and working with Chris. More

After buying my car, I brought it in to have a pocket rip repaired (which they had agreed to do) and they not only got it finished promptly, but Gerson even personally washed and detailed my car simply to be nice! He was awesome throughout my entire experience with Mazda of Clear Lake. He is very knowledgable about all the vehicles they sell and extremely willing to be helpful in any way necessary. I highly recommend Gerson and Mazda of Clear Lake. More

Day of purchase customer service great; after purchase BAD Wrote check as part of downpayment was promised that the check would be held until a certain date. Check was deposted the next day which resulted in a overdraft fee. Called dealership and was told I need to speak with Andre Trevino. Left several messages for a call back. Andre finally called and left a voice message advising that he would have a check made out to me for the amount of the overdraft fee. i tried calling him back to make arrangements to pick up the check and left several messages and again he never called back. i finally reached him the next business day and requested to come pick up the check and he said the Accounting Dept. was closed already and the check would not be available until the next day so he offered to put the money directly into our account. Called bank the next day and the money was not there as promised. Andre told me whatever he needed to say to get me off the phone, would nto return my calls & never delivered on any of his promisses. Not only was my check deposited before the date promised, I couldn't even get a check to reimburse me for the fee without jumping through hoops. We will never buy a car from ClearLake Mazda again and plan to let all of our friends and family know about the customer service we received. More

We had not bought a brand new car in a long time and after much research, we decided that a new vehicle would be cheaper in the long run with the grea We had not bought a brand new car in a long time and after much research, we decided that a new vehicle would be cheaper in the long run with the great financing and warranty than a similarly priced used vehicle. I dreaded the entire process, but Chris Danzell made it painless. He gave us his best price and when another dealership offered $400 less, he matched it. Chris was absolutely amazing from the minute he emailed me to the moment we decided to purchase the vehicle, and especially with the delivery of the vehicle. Had he not programmed my bluetooth right there at 9:00 at night, I wouldn't be able to receive phone calls or access Pandora because I haven't had time to read the owners manual. The integrated Pandora Radio on this vehicle is fantastic! A day after I took my car home, I ran over a huge roof tack used on new construction metal roofs. I called Mazda Roadside service who had GPS enabled on the phone to locate me and sent someone right to me to change the tire. I called the Mazda Service department who said they couldn't look at the tire until Tuesday and it was a Thursday. So, Friday, I contacted Chris and he got me in touch with David Almaraz who called me that night and explained how their road hazard warranty worked. I didn't have to use Mazda for the warranty. I could go anywhere to get the tire replaced. We use Discount Tire for all of our other vehicles so they special ordered a tire for me and the company who issues the warranty sent them $150 while I was there so I only paid the difference which is way better than paying full price for a brand new tire with only 150 miles on it. I am totally impressed with the sales department at Clear Lake Mazda. They go over and beyond to make things easy and right. Thank you Chris and David. I would certainly buy another vehicle from you in the future. More
