BAD EXPERIENCE WITH MAZDA OF CLEAR LAKE FEEL CHEATED. I just bought a Mazda 3 from this dealer. I have the 3i model with some options which was originally quote for $22K (Drive-out Price). T FEEL CHEATED. I just bought a Mazda 3 from this dealer. I have the 3i model with some options which was originally quote for $22K (Drive-out Price). They added the EXTENDED WARRANTY of $2500 with some other items including the bodily injury insurance and all the taxes and tag which pump the actual price up to $26K. I have no idea the Sale Manager added all those things (He was rushing over those parts when was explaining the contract to me; and well, I signed it without hesitation). BTW, I put $10K down payment for the car! When I came back to ask about the Extended Warranty, another guy showed up and he was extremely rude. He's not even take me to his desk but talk to me right in the middle of the hall. I asked to cancel the EW and he said I already signed the contract and there are nothing could be changed! I feel like he doesn't wanna work out stuff so I just worked away. I GUESS THAT'S HOW THEY DO. WHEN YOU COME BUYING, THE "GOOD GUY" IS THERE; WHEN YOU COME BACK FOR QUESTION, THERE THE "BAD GUY". My wife bought a RAV4 V6 from Champion Toyota dealer and those things never happen, absolutely hassle free. She got the quote price for $26,600 (Drive-out) and it was exactly $26,600 when she signs the contract, as simple as that. DON"T BE FOOLED BY THE FREE LIFETIME OIL CHANGE AND THE 10 ENGINE WARRANTY like I unfortunately did :( They will get something back on you! When you finished signing the contract, they'll treat you not as a customer but a burden! I regret going with Mazda of Clear Lake. I will give them 1 star (zero if I could) for every review online. I DON"T RECOMMEND BUYING FROM THIS DEALER More

We found the car online and made the appointment to come in and look at it. This dealership is fantastic...they offer free oil changes for the life of the vehicle, which is a great deal! Chris Danzell was very easy to work with and made sure that the small things were taken care of like missing tire valve stem caps and fourth floor mat. Jorge Galvan worked to get us a really good interest rate for the purchase and was easy to work with. Even Matt Kinard in Finance was great to work with. We even got a great deal on coverage for repairs on the car not covered under the standard warranties. I didn't rate the quality of work since we haven't had any car work done. We're going to be bringing our vehicle back in next week so they can take care of a few cosmetic issues with the paint, but I anticipate from our purchase experience we won't be disappointed with the service provided at that time. More

I had them evaluate my trade and they came back with an offer that was about half of what kbb.com says the tradein value is. When I said I would not trade for that amount, Chris became very rude and hostile. Handed my keys back to me without telling me where my car was. After several minutes of searching for my car, and getting very angry, someone in the office showed me where it was (behind the building, not in front where Chris said it was). After it was clear I was not buying a car, Chris got very short, rude and unprofessional. That's too bad too because I would have sold my car and bought his outright, but now, not only will I not buy from him, I won't buy from Mazda of Clear Lake. More

I had not yet decided on which car I wanted to buy, but my experience just test driving let me know if it was the Mazda I wasn't going to another dealer. When I decided on a new CX5, James was amazing to work with. He and Dustin worked with me, were pleasant to deal with and were patient as I worked through whether I was really ready to buy. I was never pressured, and any time I questioned something, they were quick to explain. I dreaded buying a new car (I'd had mine 11.5 years!). But they really made the experience simple, and somewhat enjoyable. Most of it was handled via email since I'm about 30 miles away. But when I was ready to buy, I showed up at my appointment and paperwork was ready. Even in the finance department, my representative was great to work with. I just wish I remembered his name. He was director of finance, I believe. Everyone I encountered actually was a pleasure to work with, and even those I was not directly working with were pleasant and friendly and just nice. I hope to have this car for a while, but I'd definitely go back to Mazda of Clear Lake and I'd send any friend looking for a car to visit them. I had narrowed my choice down to a Mazda or a Ford and honestly, the pleasantness of the dealership helped push the Mazda over the top. Thanks! More
