As a previous Toyota owner for 12 years, I never had to wait long for oil change, etc. I’ve been driving a ram truck for four years now. Each and every time I’ve been to demontrond dealership for any ser wait long for oil change, etc. I’ve been driving a ram truck for four years now. Each and every time I’ve been to demontrond dealership for any service the wait time has been unbelievably along. This is with an appointment. I had an appointment on Monday this week at two pm. When I arrived, was told the wait would be about 3 hours!! Was told appointments aren’t necessary and if I came back today at 2:15 pm, the wait would be around 45 minutes. Got there today, about 2:10, was told the wait would be an hour and a half. It was suggested that I call in the morning on Wednesday to see how backed up they were! The people that work there seem to be okay, it’s just the terrible management of the place that I have a problem with. It’s like people have nothing better to do than sit in the extremely cramped waiting area for hours on end. It’s very common for people to take off work to service their vehicles. I’m truly appalled at the way the service department is run at demontrond in conroe. More
Ordered a 2022 Ram 1500 Backcountry. The engine type was put in wrong. I did not want a etorque but a regular Hemi. Well the first 3 weeks of having my new truck the etorque alternator The engine type was put in wrong. I did not want a etorque but a regular Hemi. Well the first 3 weeks of having my new truck the etorque alternator and the 48volt battery fail and have to be replaced along with a factory blemish all across the roof of my truck. That caused me to have to get almost my whole truck repainted. This took 2 months. When I received my truck it had compound on the back seat and it had to stay 2 more days for them to clean.. It took 2 months to fix everything and the day after I get my truck back the TRANSMISSION VALVE SYSTEM and I have to take it in again. I am concerned with the work that was done on my truck internally and the safety driving this truck with these issues. Raymond the salesperson was great but was limited in what he could do. Mr Cardenas the GM tried really tried to get me a new truck and make it right but I couldn’t afford the difference, accessories at a discount would soften the blow of having my new truck being repaired and in able to drive. As a teacher that has been saving for 11 years for a new truck it started off great and ended sub par at best. UPDATE: the new issue the 3rd-a week with no loaner car because I am still waiting on my TRANSMISSION VALVE SYSTEM to be replaced. The burden has been placed on me to get to work. Every time I take my Truck to this dealership (5 months old truck with under 2500 miles) it comes back with something else that fails. The transmission not getting proper fluid to it, is concerning while driving my family around in it. More
Approached dealership with a pre-approval letter and interest in a specific vehicle. Spoke to salesperson and asked her to run my credit through the pre-approved lender only. She assured me this would h interest in a specific vehicle. Spoke to salesperson and asked her to run my credit through the pre-approved lender only. She assured me this would happen, but did not. Instead of running credit through the lender I had already selected and gained approval, they ran my rebounding credit through 13 other lenders. Hard inquiries that all turned me down - something I knew would happen - hence the pre approval letter. I was lied to and not informed they didn’t use my pre-approval. I called the lender who told me directly. When I discussed this with the sales person, she blamed it on the finance team, who blamed on the sales team … finally the general manager told me he wants part of the conversation, and couldn’t say what happened. The clear truth is that they all lied and then lied some more. I’ve seen more integrity from young children. I went there with pre-approved financing and a vehicle selected. I left with 13 hard credit inquiries and in much worse shape. The director of operations was a sincere person who tried to help in the way he could, so I have nothing negative to say about their corporate team. From what I can tell, an honorable group. Below them in the bottom rungs, I wouldn’t trust to feed my goldfish. The part that deeply troubles me is that this deal was a layup and they lied every step of the way. They didn’t sell a car and I’m stuck taking Ubers. No one won because they couldn’t do perform their jobs or respect my attempt to do business with them. More

Took my Wrangler in for a front brake replacement. They did the requested brake pad replacement and did a non-requested flush for $136, told me it was something they did with every brake job. I had a coupo did the requested brake pad replacement and did a non-requested flush for $136, told me it was something they did with every brake job. I had a coupon for the brake job that was saving me $200 so I just brushed it off and paid the bill, in retrospect I should have questioned it more at the time but I didn't. Right away from leaving the dealership the Jeep wasn't really braking well, but the invoice said something about a break-in period the first 300 miles so I let it go to see if the problem would work itself out. The problem did not go away and got to the point that is started making a hideous noise and grinding down the left front rotor. I brought it back the DeMontrond, they looked at it and said the front left brake line was bad and locking up the caliper. Told me that I would need a new brake line, caliper, rotor, new pads and that none of this was cause or had anything to do with the front brake job or flush that they did a month earlier and that it would only be 1 hour of labor and the total would be $766 to repair it, so at $199 an hour labor that would be $566 in parts. I questioned them saying it had nothing to do with the previous repair so they weren't responsible for it, he said he would help out though with a discount. When I questioned the prices of the parts because when I looked up the parts on the Mopar website, I found these 4 parts for about $220, he said he would look into it, but really had no control over the parts department. At this point I felt a little stuck as they had the Jeep broken down and it really was not safe to drive, so I told them to fix it and help me out on prices and parts the best he could. He said no problem and they will get on it and should be done the next morning. I never got a call letting me know the Jeep was done, I called the next afternoon and of course it was just finished and he was working on the paperwork right then and it would be ready to go when I got there. When I got there to pick it up, went to the cashier and saw the bill, it was $786, the "help" that they gave me was a whole 10% off labor = $20. I was upset and didn't feel like arguing about the bill and just wanted my Jeep back so I paid the bill and left. Not only was there no discount given on the parts, they charged more for the parts than MSRP, more than they would charge if I just came in and bought these parts at the counter and a whole lot more than they charge if I had ordered them through their website. Plus they have less expensive options for these parts, but they choose the more expensive parts, one example are the brake pads - the first time I came in for a brake job, I had a coupon, they used brake pads that were $85.75 (which they sell for $57.63 online) and on the repair with the caliper they used pads that they charged me $158.76 for ($104.30 online). After all of this I really question the quality of work of the first repair, the brake job and flush. If the first job was done correctly, a experienced technician would have noticed the poor braking either during the brake flush or the test drive after the Jeep was finished. I also question their parts departments pricing practices of jacking up the prices of parts for vehicles in the service department, I would have saved a few hundred dollars if I would have purchased the parts online from their own website. Car showed up on line on a Thursday and I made an appointment to test drive on Friday. Spoke with sales rep Thursday afternoon and again Friday at noon. Left sales person a VM Friday an hour before appointment to test drive on Friday. Spoke with sales rep Thursday afternoon and again Friday at noon. Left sales person a VM Friday an hour before our arrival (60 mile drive for me). Showed up and sales guy said car was there and went to look for it. Came back 20 minutes later and said car wasn’t available. Tried to sell us another car that we didn’t want at a higher price. I asked for mileage and toll reimbursement, nothing. Sales guy actually said he would never pull a bait and switch, hmmmm? More
