I usually go to Sterling McCall GMC but decided to try DeMontrond Buick GMC since it's closer. This was a complete mistake due to the poor customer service and overall experience. The person assisting me, Fred, didn't have a pricing sheet and instead used a calculator to come up with a price, which seemed very shady. I had no clear idea of what I was being charged for, and the final amount was $900. I asked if they provided a free car wash for customers, and Fred said yes. However, when I arrived, there were three salespeople just talking amongst themselves. I waited about 15 minutes, and none of them bothered to ask if I needed help. They completely ignored me the whole time. When I finally got my keys back, the truck had not been washed as promised. I asked again, and Fred said they would do it. A guy took the truck and returned in literally three minutes. The truck was dripping water, and there were wet puddles on my carpet—clearly, a very poor car wash job. This is the worst service I have ever received from a GMC dealership. It seems like there's no one in charge on the Saturday shift, and the staff doesn't care about customer needs at all. Very disappointing. More

The service consultant that helped me was very nice. But in general I will never take my car in again! From my first oil change where my car was damaged pretty badly should have been the red flag. Or when they left the oil cap off and oil was flying out… No, before that, ever since the finance guy tried to sell me warranty telling me that the bank required me to have the warranty to get the better rate (illegal!). Anyways, you deserve to know that this last time crosses the line! I took my car for an oil change and due to a check engine light. The service diagnostic said I needed a new radiator and that my car overheated causing the catalytic converter to give an emissions code. $2500 to repair! I know better and took my car for a second opinion and then then took it to another GMC dealership. Nothing is wrong with the radiator, nothing is leaking. The check engine light error was due to something completely different that was covered under warranty. I can believe I paid you guys to diagnose my vehicle just to almost get robbed. Im glad I found another service center that took car of my car and solved the problem. No worries, im telling everyone about my experience at DeMontrond. More

I recently had my vehicle serviced at Demontrond Automotive Group, and I was very impressed with the speed and quality of their service. My vehicle had a lot of alignment issues, and I was expecting Automotive Group, and I was very impressed with the speed and quality of their service. My vehicle had a lot of alignment issues, and I was expecting to have to leave it at the shop for a few days. However, the team at Demontrond was able to turn it around in about 2 hours. I was really grateful for their quick turnaround time, and I'm very happy with the work they did. I would definitely recommend Demontrond Automotive Group to anyone looking for quick and reliable vehicle service. I scheduled a 7:00am appointment on Wednesday August 2nd at DeMontrond Buick GMC Service. The appointment was to get my oil and front brakes changed (because they were down to 26%). I dropped the truck at DeMontrond Buick GMC Service. The appointment was to get my oil and front brakes changed (because they were down to 26%). I dropped the truck off and was transported to work via a courtesy Uber. I received a call around 5:00pm from my rep, claiming my front rotors were “pitted” and needed to be replaced due to the mechanic not being able to resurface them to meet the “specs”. I asked him to explain what he meant by “pitted” but he was unable to do so instead stating “it’s what the mechanic said”. I decided to stick with my rotors and just change the brakes. He then stated my rear differential pinion gear seal had a recall that’s under warranty. He assured me he tripled verified with his warranty department and I was covered. I didn’t feel comfortable with this conversation, so I asked to have it in writing. When I did not receive the written confirmation I replied to the greeting text that was sent the morning stating what I agreed to. I received a call right before the dealership closed asking when I would I be able to pick up my truck? I told them, I never received a call and would not be able to pick up the truck that night. The day after I went to the dealership to pick up my truck and was told, the mechanic is still working on the rear differential pinion gear seal. Only to receive a call that night right before the dealership closed AGAIN asking when I would I be able to pick up my truck? I told him I would be able to pick it up in the morning, but would need a ride. They provided a courtesy Uber ride the following morning confirming that my truck was ready. When I arrived my rep said he’s waiting for the mechanic to “update his notes to release” the vehicle and asked me to wait in the waiting room. 15 mins later he charged me for an oil change, my front brakes and the rear differential pinion gear seal was covered under warranty. When he handed me my key it looked like someone with long sharp nails had ripped the “auto start button”. I told him that was not how I gave them my key and I would like it fixed. He said they would have to replace the key. A more knowledgeable rep by the name of Jaime was able to replace the cover while my rep sincerely apologized. When I drove off, I checked my gauges because I like to have all my gauges reset. I saw my oil was reset to “100” but my front brakes were now at 24%! I went back to the dealership, found my rep and asked if he could reset the gauge for me. He tried but was unsuccessful. He went to speak to a mechanic in the back and came back with the most depressing look on his face. He said he was sorry, but the mechanic NEVER changed the brakes. At this point I am flabbergasted! I immediately asked to speak to someone other than him. While he spoke to someone on the phone who I believe he called “Herald”, I spoke to Jaime. He apologized for what happened and refunded me ALL of my money including the charge for the oil change. They both said If I want, I can reschedule whenever I want to come back and have my brakes changed. I say all of that to say I’m disappointed with the lapse in customer service and the inability to service the customer due to lack of knowledge and poor communication. More

I’ve only been in for the oil changes with tire rotations twice since purchase. (You basically have to go here for an oil change or lose the “forever guarantee “, it’s to difficult to go elsewhere and call the number for approval ect. This second oil change took way too long and upon leaving for my very long road trip I saw that on my passenger side the service people left off one wheel lug off of each tire. These guys are not at all professional and the wait times of 2-3 hours for an oil change is just tragic. I’m going to lose my “forever guarantee” because I just do not want to do business here. It’s sad because the team as a whole are fantastic, but the service is pretty rough. More

They do this so you can stay informed during services rendered and for me thats important since I'm a busy person. Five stars overall rating for me!! More
