I apologize for the conflict and treatment that Mr. Minzner speaks of. Ken has been a Sales Manager here for over 18 years and has always had a great customer following. In this case, Mr. Minzner was not here during the transaction and called in a day after the purchase attempting to rescind the deal. While we do warrant our vehicles, we do not have a return policy. Mr Dye, While you are correct, I was not present at the dealership when my wife was pressured into buying the car, I do believe my wife of 20 years of marriage and mother of my two children, that Mr. Gunderson (whom I have never met) pressured her into purchasing a car for her mother which was against her best interest due to opening her up to financial and legal liability in case of an accident. Since her mother would be the primary driver and the car would not be housed at our home address, opens up my wife and me to legal and financial liability. Additionally, DeLand Nissan made 4 hard inquiries on her credit (which stay for 2 years) as 3 of the 4 banks declined her as the sale price of the vehicle was $2500 over what the banks valued the car. The decline letters clearly state this as the reason for non-approval as her FICO score was 740 at the time of this bogus sale. If this is not high pressure sales, I don't know what is. As you already know, the car loan was paid off in cash within 48H of purchase as your dealer refused to take the car back or cancel the sale. The reason for the payoff, was to limit the liability of my wife and the car title and insurance can now be in my mother-in-law name only.
